Who: Robin and YOU!
Broadcast: Fleetwide Text
Action: If you want it. She gets around
When:8/19
It seems there's never a lack of people coming in or going out. No wonder the rosters get updated weekly. Still, I hope everyone's enjoying their stay as much as they can. It's a bit of a unique opportunity, don't you think?
In the vein of getting to know you, I'm curious what class of augment everyone got when they arrived, and whether they think it suits them. I've had to do a bit of thinking on this myself, actually, and received some insight from an unexpected source. Perhaps a discussion such as this may lead to similar results for others- if, indeed, there are others out there who felt that their augment was a bit misplaced.
Yours truly,
Nico Robin

I think you know I'm an engineer by now, and I like it a lot! I did a LITTLE bit of making stuff back home, but not as much as here. It's REALLY fun thinking of new things to build for everybody on the Caprine, and it's another way to make people happy, right?

How do you type with hooves?

[If she had ten credits somebody in the fleet thought of that question, she'd be the richest pony in all the multiverses.]
Oh, the buttons on my comm are a bit bigger. AND mine has one of those stylus thingies too.

I see.
So the augment did, in fact, augment your talents. It took something you love and gave it a more practical spin.

Yeah, I guess it did!
How about you?

As for it being a unique opportunity, I have to disagree. I had enough to do at home without questioning what it'll be like when I return. The idea that nothing will change at all is... not convincing.

The very least we can do is to keep up whatever routine we had before, in preparation for whatever may come.

i got a personnel support augment. civilian or something like that. it feels like i'm not really that important as far as helping the ship run or whatever but i guess that's okay?
they could have let me do security i guess. that might have been more helpful dunno about fitting or not. but back home i'm pretty much a combat mage.

I've never heard of such a thing, though I suppose the basics of the job are easy enough to deduce. How does an artist such as yourself become a combat mage?

the music part of life's the more fun part! and i didn't go to school for that. just taught myself.

[It's too bad Robin hasn't yet learned the art of the emoji. ;P]
I see. Well it's quite a talent, then. Have you been able to arrange anything more formal to do with it? That was something you were considering the last time we spoke.

But motorcycles? I was terrible at driving those. Crashed nearly every time. So maybe it's not very fitting after all.
