It seems there's never a lack of people coming in or going out. No wonder the rosters get updated weekly. Still, I hope everyone's enjoying their stay as much as they can. It's a bit of a unique opportunity, don't you think?

In the vein of getting to know you, I'm curious what class of augment everyone got when they arrived, and whether they think it suits them. I've had to do a bit of thinking on this myself, actually, and received some insight from an unexpected source. Perhaps a discussion such as this may lead to similar results for others- if, indeed, there are others out there who felt that their augment was a bit misplaced.

A combat mage?

I've never heard of such a thing, though I suppose the basics of the job are easy enough to deduce. How does an artist such as yourself become a combat mage?

well it's not like an official job name or anything. it's just more or less what it is. the order's supposed to help protect the people and that's who taught me. so i know how to fight and i've mastered fire and explosive magic.

the music part of life's the more fun part! and i didn't go to school for that. just taught myself.

I can't imagine why they might not have wanted to encourage fire and explosive magic while flying through space. How very short sighted of them.

I see. Well it's quite a talent, then. Have you been able to arrange anything more formal to do with it? That was something you were considering the last time we spoke.

yeah i know. would've been perfectly fine, nothing could go wrong.

and yeah I think I have an idea. at least while we're in this system. had enough credits to buy a guitar so while we're here i'll see if anywhere lets me put on a show.

You could start your own broadcast among the fleet. Perhaps collaborate with some of the other artists scattered throughout the various crews. At the very least, it'd get your name out there a little.
