You're here on the Windrose now, Wanda. Misty brought you back. I--could not let you stay as you were. Not when there was an option to do otherwise.
[Dead. He doesn't want to say it, but there it is.]

Very carefully, he moves to wrap his arms around Wanda. God, he'd been so scared of losing her. The grief still hasn't seeped from his bones, but hearing her breathing, feeling her chest expanding helps. He still failed to do the one thing he promised he would do. ]
« I'm so sorry, sister. I should have been faster. I should have protected you better. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.. »

« It's... it's all right. It was my decision... »
[She had made the choice to value his life over her own. She had not wanted to go through experiencing his death all over again. However, it seemed that she had inadvertently forced her twin to go through that very experience.]
[The waves of pain from her chest cause her to finally pull away from her brother's embrace. Looking down, she can plainly see its cause. An open wound in her chest where the killing blow had struck. Blood was everywhere, yet no more appeared to be flowing from her wound. Still, the sight was still unnerving. Her mouth opening and closing for a bit, as she fails to produce any words or sounds.]
[She looks to Misty in bewildered terror. Vision had said she "brought you back."]
What... what is this? What did you do to me?

Now, at Wanda's question, she looks up with no small amount of apprehension. She believes she did the right thing, but what if Wanda doesn't think so, what if Wanda turns on her? It wouldn't be the first time. She casts a nervous glance at Vision.]
You... you died and I resurrected you.

He turns his attention back to Wanda, still holding on to one hand.]
It's one of her powers, Wanda. I asked it of her. I...could not bear it if you left us so soon.

[She looks again to Misty, her eyes pleading now for something, some explanation or comfort or cure or just... something.]
Is... is it meant to be like this? The pain-- I...
[Her eyes dart temporarily to her brother. The feeling, the experience... it had been like the experiments they went through in Hydra's labs. The ones that had given them their powers, yet felt like their minds and bodies were being ripped apart in the process. She needs him. His comfort again. Just to let her know that this, too-- this sensation of feeling almost between two states, dead and alive, was in fact going to be temporary.]

[Misty's voice is quiet and serious as she cautiously approaches Wanda again, the magic mud in hand.]
Believe me, I know. I've been in your place twice before. But it'll get better, I promise, as long as you let me help you.
[Because ain't no medical science that can fix that wound - by all rights, Wanda should not be able to live with it at all.]

It's very bad right now, but you will heal soon and we will be here with you the whole time.
[Because the only thing he'll leave her side for is to get more materials for Misty, and he imagines Pietro will be the same way.]

[ Not again. Not for anything. He moves to the end of the bed, resting his hand on her ankle. Trembling? Whose hands are trembling? Definitely not Pietro's.
God. She's okay.. ]

[She looks back to Misty. It's clear Wanda's worried about whatever Misty's "help" might mean, but... well, she doesn't have much of a choice but to trust her at the moment. Vision seems to, so that she should be enough of a reason for her too, as well.]
What- [Her voice catches in her throat. She swallows, tries again.] What do you need me to do?
no subject
[Truth is, Wanda's wounds are nothing, compared to others Misty has seen, to ones she's suffered, but probably not the most tactful thing to say right now.]
Or if you can't trust me, trust the captain.

[But, well... it had been Misty that had brought her back. It had been her powers. Powers which Wanda had previously thought pertained only to plants. Still, she knows that out of anyone present, she is the one that most fully understands the situation.]
[Still, as Misty mentions "trusting the captain," Wanda's eyes dart over to Vision, looking to him for some final reassurance.]

All will be well in time, Wanda. I am so very sorry I could not do more, but I will help you through this and you'll make a full recovery.
[She has to.]
