[Allen looks like he's planet-side on Solrius. He doesn't look injured, but he sure looks like this hasn't been the best of weeks. The area behind him? Looks like it just got hit by a snowstorm and a tornado, all at once.]

Hey! There's a dragon running loose on Solrius- a dangerous one, not a nice one! He's traveling with a man and they're causing damage! If you have information about either of them or their location, please tell me!

If you can fight? Please consider coming down here to protect the local villages! Don't try to take the dragon and the man on by yourself. Otherwise? I suggest traveling elsewhere!

[OOC: If you want to have an encounter with the dragon here's the log! The dragon will be defeated on the 11th. If you really want your character to be on Solrius and NOT encounter the dragon, that's fine too- it's a big planet! ]

[He continues to laugh. It's very much a laugh to relieve stress]

I can't believe we got beaten by a river.

Cry me a river, babe.

[He gives a big, cheeky grin - A river may have beaten him, but it can't beat out the puns.]

Who would've thought our worst enemy turned out to be nature?

[He swats him on the arm, not painfully intended at all] Terrible.

[TERRIBLE PUN]

Well they always said Mother Nature's not one to be underestimated.

Mm, that's true.

[Both the fact that his pun was terrible and that Mother Nature shouldn't be underestimated. He sits up, that jovial smile still on his face as he looks back at Allen.]

So, how about we use the evil river to clean up some, get back to the shuttle, and fly to my ship? I left the Vanquish pretty close to here, but not enough to get pulled in.

[He's not sure if Allen would rather stay on the planet for the night or take up the ship offer, but either way, the Vanquish has towels!]

Wait, you want to go near that river again? After it did this to us?

[THE MUD, THE GUNK!! ITS AWFUL]

But ah...that sounds nice. I doubt I'd be able to sleep if we stay on planet.

Because I don't know about you, but I don't really want to trail mud all over my shuttle and ship. If Pearl were here, she'd probably faint.

[And then clean it with utmost diligence. Man, he still misses seeing her around. But at that, Clay lets out a sigh of relief.]

Man, you have no idea how glad I am to hear you say that. I don't think I could sleep either.

[Allen could defend himself against Sorey and Mikleo, but Clay? Heck no, he wouldn't survive for more than three seconds, he's sure.]

Alright, alright. But if we fall in again, it'll be on you.

[He finally sits up now. He still feels gross from the river, but the laughter made him feel at least a bit less tense]

I can imagine. I really appreciate that you came down here at all.

[He rolls his eyes at that first part, but it's good-natured, and he reaches out a hand to help pull Allen up as he stands, ready to tackle the river again.]

I wanted you to get a good night's sleep, after all. ... And I wanted to see you, too.

[He takes his hand and uses it in aid to be pulled up.]

It's still sweet. [He smiles at him] And I'll be honest... I may have been motivated by wanting to see you again too.

[That gets him to smile as well, and he'll keep holding his hand as he leads him to the riverbank. Carefully this time, so that they don't slip again.]

Yeah? And how motivated are you now that you did see me?

[He'll walk with him, carefully kneeling down on a part of the riverbank that seems more steady]

You mean by the idea of spending a night with you in an actual bed?

[He grins] Oh, extremely motivated. You're as handsome as I remembered, even with the mud.

[Clay kneels down with him, hands already cupped in the water - the cleaner part that's right next to the shore, when he laughs at that last compliment.]

You like the look? [He raises his hands to spread some water through his hair, runs his fingers through it, and tosses Allen an over-dramatically coy look.] Do you think it's hot?

[He laughs at that, as he's trying to wash his own arms in the water]

Oh yes, you look like the sexy creature from black lagoon.

[He grins, both hands moving back to support his weight as he lifts up a leg and tosses his head back]

I am the sexy creature from the black lagoon, and I've risen from the depths to -

[Fall, apparently, as his hands slip a little in the mud. Thankfully he catches himself a bit, so he's not in the river again. At most, it just made him cut himself off and push himself back.]

Ooookay, I won't do that then.

[Allen automatically reached out to grab his arm when he slips to help keep him from falling, snickering while doing so]

Careful!

I'm fine!

[You know, he's so glad his jacket is being dry-cleaned, otherwise he'd be complaining a lot more about his ruined clothes. As it is, he decides to just slide his shirt off, toss it behind him, and start wiping off his arms. Jeez, it's cold out here.]

Let's hurry up. I wanna get back inside.

[He nods. Yeah, he can agree with the cold here]

Yeah, good idea. Lets get what we can then shower off the rest later.

[since your ship being clean is not worth hypothermia]

[Pearl wouldn't agree but Pearl is a rock and also not here, so Clay nods, rinses off wherever the mud's clinging the most, then stands, shaking out some of the excess water. When he's sure Allen is done as well, Clay moves to his right side and wraps both arms around his neck, shooting him a grin even as he shivers.]

Okay, Spider-man, do your thing!

[Allen does the same with getting himself clean, and standing up once he's done. It's not perfect, but eh, a good bath or shower will fix that. When Clay wraps his arms around his neck, he wraps his right arm around Clay's waist to hold him steady]

Alright!

[He'll looking around for a latching point on the other side of the river. There's a bent tree, that looks like it'd be good enough. So he shoots his ribbon and once it's secure- takes a swinging jump across the river]

[It's cold, they're wet and gross, but once they take off, Clay still laughs, looking down at the river below them and how harmless it is now that they're sailing over it. YEAH, SUCK IT, RIVER.

And once they land, Clay lets go of Allen to pump both fists in the air again, a big smile on his face from the thrill of that ride.]

YEAH! We really beat it this time!

[... Well, Clay's shirt is still over there, but he doesn't care about it at this rate.]

[He'll deactivate his Innocence, pumping his fist in the air]

Yeah, we sure did!

Now come on, to the shuttle! [NO TIME TO SAVE YOUR SHIRT ITS TOO DAMN COLD OUT HERE]

To the shuttle!

[And running off towards it! Because the shuttle has HEAT! And so does the ship! And the shower is even better!

God, that shower is sounding more and more inviting the longer this goes on.]

Yes!

[He runs to the shuttle, keeping up with Clay. When he reaches it, he hits the button for the door to come open and he almost dives in. As soon as Clay's in, he shuts the door]

Oh thank God, it's still warm in here.

[Clay lets out a long sigh of relief, then rubs his upper arms, trying to get some feeling back into them now that there's warm air in here.]

And it'll be even warmer once we get going!

[Without much more delay, Clay sits down in the pilot's seat, though he makes a face at the sound his wet pants make. Engine startup, heat on at full blast -

Aaaah. Clay's just gonna sit there for a moment to take in that heat.]

[Allen moves to the front passenger seat, sitting down next to Clay.

Then promptly, he leans forward to press himself against the heating vents on the dashboard]

Ah...it feels so good!
