The cameras were undoubtedly broadcasting this dramatic arrival to the galaxy. In addition to the open network feed aboard the Marsiva, Kylo's personal communicator got switched on - offering a Blair Witch-style view of a ratings-boosting scuffle.

He was supposed to wake up on the hospitality deck. But Force have mercy, Kylo came to while the robotic assistants were patching up the injuries he sustained on Starkiller Base. Of course, that's when the fight began. Sparks flew. Weapons were improvised. Panicked screams of "what have you done to me?" echoed in the medbay. There was so much going on that words were hard to make out, but some likely heard "I will not be captured by the Resistance!" or "Give me back my lightsaber!" That alone was enough context for some to know exactly who had just arrived in the fleet.

Eventually, though, the robots won. Kylo Ren was sedated again. His injuries were repaired as quickly as possible (they would scar), and he was left to wake up - not in a comfortable bunk, but on the floor of a locked and heavily-barricaded supply closet.

Action:

If anyone is interested in wandering by in person, the closet has a window to the hallway. Be prepared to be greeted by sights and sounds of someone throwing a temper tantrum at the metal walls with whatever janitorial supplies the robots keep in there.

As a joke, there's also a sign hanging from the knob that says 'Don't Feed the Bears.'

If you'd rather send Kylo Ren a message, his communicator is still on and broadcasting. As enraged as he is, he hasn't even noticed that it's there.

"Yes. Cook." he huffed. For some reason, he felt defensive about that instead of being focused on the fact that the Resistance pilot was, in fact, here somewhere. "What are you, the ship nurse?"

I'm on the Heron as security. And once they release you you'll meet me there. There are other things we cannot discuss over the network.

[Hux isn't giving Ren a chance to argue on this point.]

More than the Resistance pilot and 2187 are here though. There are a few Jedi from the days of the Old Republic here as well, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker among them.

Kylo Ren growled, but he listened at least. He knew about the traitor and now the pilot. He should have known they'd both be here together.

"Hux, Kenobi died long before I was born! Unless you're seeing ghosts, that's impossi... Did you say Anakin Skywalker?"

Yes, we're all aware of that but you'll find that it doesn't matter. The Atroma have apparently decided to take some of us from various points in history.

[He really hopes Ren is listening to him because he's fairly certain that everyone who is aware of Vader really don't want that subject to come up anytime soon.]

Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker are alive here and they haven't yet lived through the fall of the Republic.

It sounded so completely far-fetched that it might have actually been true. And imagining his grandfather on board one of these ships, before he'd accepted his true destiny. He wanted to find him, to share the glory that the First Order will become thanks to his Empire.

But... not from a supply closet.

"Who else is here?"

[Alas, the Anakin Skywalker's permissions post specificially asks not to tell him about his future as Darth Vader. If they ever meet, I'll have to dramatically curb Kylo's fanboy-side.]

I meant it when I said Anakin Skywalker is here. He doesn't know the name Darth Vader, he doesn't know his future.

[He will repeat this when Ren is released, as many times as it takes for the message to sink in.]

Your father, Han Solo, is here as well.

Only one thing could have distracted Kylo Ren from thinking about Darth Vader. And that was it, Hux.

"... WHAT?!"

Hux was treated to a video of the wall coming closer to a thrown communicator (very sturdy pieces of tech, able to take a lot of abuse before breaking, thankfully) and a soundtrack of angry screaming.

"He's dead! I killed him myself!!"

I have no doubt that you did. I'm sure you recall I mentioned that those who have died before can be here alive and well once more though.

[He's just going to wait, he's not going to shout to make himself heard over Ren's yelling. He's really not in the mood to argue and they can't afford this right now.]

Yelling isn't going to accomplish anything, Ren.

Eventually, the yelling did die down, but it was hard to tell whether that was due to Hux's calm insistence or kylo just running out of steam.

"But of all the people in the galaxy, why HIM?!"

Yes, he killed the man, but his feelings about the entire incident were hardly as straightforward as his lightsaber had been. Anger was tempered by guilt, regret and perhaps even hope. But no... No, that was the way of the light. That was what had been his undoing on Starkiller Base. He couldn't let Hux know how weak his ties to Han Solo truly made him.

"You wouldn't understand!"

Of course I wouldn't. [Oh for the love of the Emperor. If he had a credit for every time he had heard that they would be able to afford to upgrade the rest of the fleet already.]

I have business to attend to shortly, I suggest you calm down in the meanwhile. You can contact me later, you have my comm number now so you should be able to figure it out now.

"No. You wouldn't." he insisted again. He was about to close the comm, but then stopped. "Wait! ...Aren't you going to get me out of here?!"

He hated to admit that to General Hux of all people, but he really didn't have a choice.

You're on Marsiva, no one can dock with that ship so you're going to have to find your own way out. We'll meet on Heron when you're out and go from there.

[He has only a little while to get things in order the best he was able to, adjust some plans.]

Calm down and we'll speak again later.

Of course. There wasn't much Kylo could do at the moment but pout and end the transmission. That, and try to break down that ridiculously-reinforced supply closet door.

[It's at least a day in a half before Hux contacts Ren once more. He's been busy but he has to admit he's a bit concerned. Something seems wrong aside from the obvious and he suspects the worst]

I take it you've made it out by now.

A good six hours or more elapsed before Kylo Ren even bothered to respond. He was frustrated, of course, by the truth of the matter. But he was also hungry, thirsty and surprisingly cold.

"...No."

No jab, no insult. Just a single angry word.

[Hux was glad that he kept the encryption but there were some things he wasn't going to ask over the network. There was always the potential that someone would be listening.]

What is your condition?

"Still stuck in a kriffing supply closet." Kylo replied in barely mustered rage. He'd definitely worn himself out trying, and failing, to improve upon that condition. And he wasn't even going to mention that his father had contacted him. One humiliating response at a time.

I meant your injuries.

[Hux had seen some on the way back to the shuttle but there hadn't been time for much of an assessment.

He's not going to ask about Han Solo. He doesn't need to ask to be able to safely assume Ren's father had contacted him.]

I need to know if I need to procure any medical supplies or find a way to have you patched up.

He switched the communicator to video, and turned his right cheek in the direction of the camera. There was quite a gruesome scar to behold, but it was just that - a scar.

"The droids fixed the worst of them."

And did more than that, if you asked Kylo. He'd sustained quite a few scrapes, cuts and bruises since then, but nothing life threatening.

So you're not bleeding out at least.

[He knew that it would have taken time to get back to Finalizer and dunk Ren in a bacta tank so he doesn't so much a blink at the scar.]

That's...something. We'll need to go over a few things when you arrive but I suppose you'll want something to eat and a shower first.

The wounds were definitely all closed and the holes in his clothing patched, but his squabbles with the robots made them hurry up the process. They did nothing to minimize scarring anywhere.

"Yes." he growled. He wanted those things very much right now. "So when are you getting me out of here?"

There's nothing I can do for now, I can't reach you. You have at least a few more days before you'll be assigned your ship.

[Hux had to admit he actually felt a bit bad for Ren. Being trapped in a confined space for so long couldn't be easy.]

"Oh, you have got to be..." He rolled his eyes and spun, slamming his fist hard enough into a metal wall that it actually left a dent.

The communicator fell in the process, and Hux got a good glimpse of the small space. It was big enough that he could almost straighten out in one direction, but had to sit in another. The light flickered annoyingly. The small porthole window on the door was broken and bloody. And everything, from shelves to what had once been on them, had been completely trashed. (Which could be expected, given Kylo Ren's usual temperment.)

All you're going to do is hurt yourself. I don't know how or why you got shut in a confined space but I'm going to assume it's because of what you're doing now.

[Easier said than done, he knows but it's all he can do at the moment.]

That was an assumtion worthy of betting your last dollar on. Because it was true. The only reason the medbay of the Marsiva didn't look like this supply closet was because enough of the robots finally managed to take Kylo Ren down and sedate him again, before he completely wrecked the place.

"As if you wouldn't have done the same thing if you woke up where I did?!" He challenged, reaching for the communicator again.

A fierce stomach growl punctuated the end of that question.
