Ah, I guess first things first, gotta apologize to fellow Ducks that we goin’ to get less room on the ship now, ‘cause I just got these guys. [The camera pans away from Remy’s face to reveal three little kittens, all huddled together and looking a little lost as they sat on his bed on the WonderDuck.] There was a breeder in the Savvy guild who was raisin’ pest huntin’ pets, ‘nd these three were considered runts of the litter. Said they were too small ‘nd weak ‘nd was just goin’ to off them, ‘nd, well, couldn’t be havin’ that now.

So, wanna ‘ntroduce ya’ll to Figaro, [The camera moves, zooming in on each kitten as he names them off.], Oliver, ‘nd Lucifer. Hopefully they'll make great crew mates.

Also, ya know, if 'nyone got tips for keepin' cats, that be well welcomed too.

Stick to scripture then? [Lucifer might had gotten his name due to him trying to bite Remy the instant he had picked him up, he had calmed down now but Remy had to give him points for attitude.] Or rather Dickens?

[ He smiles faintly. ]

We have a dog back at school, but I let the children name him.

Oh yeah? That sounds like that could had been a real risk, [Yet Remy grinned as he said this, imagination going wild at what the kids could come up with, if they were anything like the ones back in the Xavier's he knew about.] Ya be a brave man, or a foolish one, all depends on what they ended up callin' it.

Thankfully, he seems to respond to any name so peace was kept in the school.

[Remy gave a warm chuckle over the com at Charles' response, before quirking a brow up at this all.] Don't remember talk of this before, take it this is from ya'll little trip back home. [Which seems to have been quite a trip, from how they had all changed.] 'nd I gotta ask, it don't have a collar with an X on it, does it? [It seems like something that would happen, the X-Men really should start their own brand.]

No, it had a normal collar.

[ He doesn't see the need to put Xs on everything, geez. ]

[Just a matter of time, either the team would or the kids would, just because they found it funny. Or, you know, that's what he would do, and wait to see who reacted first.] Glad to hear everything doesn't get the X stamp on it then.

[All the talk of being back home does actually make Remy wonder if Charles had ran into certain other mutants yet...] Have ya ran 'nto me yet? Or, well, version of me?

[ He shakes his head. ]

I'm afraid not. I've found the ones Logan asked me to find along with a couple of other students.

Maybe for the best, hein? Would just end up bringin' all sorts of trouble ya way. [Because if he and his other versions share even a hint of a similar past, there was a lot of trouble that could head the X-Men's way with him around.]

Oh yeah? Any familiar names from 'round here?

I'm sure you're not as bad as all that.

Well, I found Scott. Jean's been there for some time now. Ororo and Kurt recently joined up as well as Peter. I believe you know him as Pietro?

[Don't be so sure about that, Charles. Remy comes with a lot of dark and dangerous baggage.] Oh yeah? Jeanie? Ah, she a good femme, was pretty good friends with the girl from my world in the last place I was stuck. Ya, or Xavier, would be proud of her, she was helpin' me with my powers while we were there, good teacher. Storm be rather nice too, from the short time I got to meet up with her.

[Yet Remy made a face and gave a roll of his eyes at the last name.] Speedy? Oh mon Dieu, good luck with that one. He got thrown on the team I was part of for a bit, was nothin' but trouble. Was very happy the day he went back to the Loserhood.

[ Charles dated Erik. He's been through all the baggage. ]

Well, he's a very different person with us. He saved my life. He didn't have to be there but . . . he was.

[ Now Charles knows why, but he's always been fond of Peter. ]

Well, ya 'nd Ma- uh, Erik, [Yep, still had to work on that name use there, Remy.] Be close, 'ssume he just followin' his pops 'round. Or ain't they related in ya world? [Weird world differences did seem to mix up how people were related between the universes.]

Possibly. We haven't had time to properly discuss it.

[ It's not his business anyway. ]

Different universes, hein? Throws up all sort of surprises. [That was a bit of an understatement.]

But good to hear ya found ya troop, mon ami, they seem to do some real good under ya back home, for teens at least. [Remy held back on his other opinion of the X-Men, they were only young after all, had a lot of time in front of them. Hopefully they could overcome their issues and only get better.]

They seem to handle themselves well. I'm rather proud of them.
