Ah, I guess first things first, gotta apologize to fellow Ducks that we goin’ to get less room on the ship now, ‘cause I just got these guys. [The camera pans away from Remy’s face to reveal three little kittens, all huddled together and looking a little lost as they sat on his bed on the WonderDuck.] There was a breeder in the Savvy guild who was raisin’ pest huntin’ pets, ‘nd these three were considered runts of the litter. Said they were too small ‘nd weak ‘nd was just goin’ to off them, ‘nd, well, couldn’t be havin’ that now.

So, wanna ‘ntroduce ya’ll to Figaro, [The camera moves, zooming in on each kitten as he names them off.], Oliver, ‘nd Lucifer. Hopefully they'll make great crew mates.

Also, ya know, if 'nyone got tips for keepin' cats, that be well welcomed too.

They are so small!

...Also did they have more? Because maybe that would a good thing for the Tourist to have and I was just talking about kittens with someone.

Oui, few more, but none as small as these guys. Turns out the normal size kittens be like four time these little guys size... so not too sure what size they grow 'nto. [Maybe that's something Remy should had checked first.

Ah well, too late now.] Was on Solrius, if ya headin' that way, might find some other breeders who got runts they tryin' to get rid of. [Remy is well aware he got 'scammed' by the breeder, buying kittens smaller than they normally were, but these were perfect size for the ship. And look at them! How could he leave them to die?]

I literally can't handle how cute they are.

Those are some interesting names for cats.

[Oh, that look was taking some time to get use to, even if Remy came from a universe where Xavier was bald but... that was Xavier, not Charles. It was weird having to switch his thinking again.] Ya suggestin' should had gone with something like Fluffy 'nd Smokey 'nstead then, rather than largo al factotum? [Then again, it was just as likely Remy picked Figaro from the Disney cat character rather than the opera.]

Kara, right? [Remy's bumped into her once or twice, even if he's never really took the time to chat to her.] Tell ya what, once they use to this place 'nd up for goin' 'round with me, I be sure to bring them over to ya ship for ya to meet them.

I haven't taken time to meet the others. [Yeah, thieves and dogs do not mix. It could be worse, there could be a 'gator somewhere on the Fleet...]

How do you not like dogs? And why I haven't I heard about this polar pup?

Stick to scripture then? [Lucifer might had gotten his name due to him trying to bite Remy the instant he had picked him up, he had calmed down now but Remy had to give him points for attitude.] Or rather Dickens?

[ It's not really a judgement, but more surprise. ] I mean, we have Newton, too. And uh, the dog... thing. Naga. I guess we better hope they don't want to eat cats. Or bird kids. I mean our captain is part bird, so.

[Yep, Remy did take that all into consideration when, you know, this breeder was just going to kill those poor kittens... and quickly dismissed all the issues and took the kittens for himself. Soft spot? Maybe, but Remy didn't care.] Hey, at least things won't be borin' on board, non? [He threw out a grin with that, seeming to just shrug off any real concerns.]

've had a few bad run ins in the past with them, come off with a few minor 'njuries. Know most are ok, but, [Remy shrugs a shoulder, not bothering to finish up that sentence and leaving it hanging.]

Think Korra got the pup from the tree back on that last planet, not sure if she's made it overly public yet, would have to bring that up with her, chere.

Ain't he just? [Turning his attention to the little grey kitten, Remy stroked it's chin before it rolled over on it's back, paws up and trying to swat at his fingers as Remy held them over it's head, wiggling his fingers.]

Maybe I was inspired by others he shares his colors with.

Yeah, I kinda noticed. How ya'll doin' with that? [It seemed like quite a time skip for them all. Remy had just been dealing with Kirk's recent acceleration into the future, then to have those four (he assumed with Raven, even if she didn't look any different) go through the same, Remy can only imagine what they had been through.]

Ah - better. We've had some time to settle. [more or less, anyway. They've had a little over a week to get reacquainted with things here, so he'd like to think that they'd stepped up from "managing"]
