Ah, I guess first things first, gotta apologize to fellow Ducks that we goin’ to get less room on the ship now, ‘cause I just got these guys. [The camera pans away from Remy’s face to reveal three little kittens, all huddled together and looking a little lost as they sat on his bed on the WonderDuck.] There was a breeder in the Savvy guild who was raisin’ pest huntin’ pets, ‘nd these three were considered runts of the litter. Said they were too small ‘nd weak ‘nd was just goin’ to off them, ‘nd, well, couldn’t be havin’ that now.

So, wanna ‘ntroduce ya’ll to Figaro, [The camera moves, zooming in on each kitten as he names them off.], Oliver, ‘nd Lucifer. Hopefully they'll make great crew mates.

Also, ya know, if 'nyone got tips for keepin' cats, that be well welcomed too.

Ya more than welcome to head over, cherie. I would offer to bring them to ya, but want them to get use to the ship first before I take them travelin' between them. [Remy then gave a shrug of a shoulder.] Can't see an issue, 'magine they wouldn't even know what a dog be at this point in life.

kate shows up not too long after her network conversation with remy ends. she's dressed in purple (when is she ever not in purple?) but casually: the only thing of considerable note in her appearance is a sling supporting her left arm.

she finds his room with relative ease and knocks on the door with the knuckles on her good hand. ]

[Moving into view within the room, Remy instantly flashes a smile in her direction,] Hey cherie, [Before noticing the sling.] Ah merde, what happened to ya?

[There also may be a kitten trying to escape the room by their feet. Luckily it's slow and cautious of the big corridor outside.]

I fell. It's no big deal. Honest.

[ she bends down to scoop the kitty up with her good arm, nuzzling her nose directly against the furry nape of its neck. cute. ]

Good to see ya on the mend for it at least. [Injuries were never fun.] Ya want a drink or something, or just happy stay where ya be with that little guy? [If it wasn't for the fact Kate had a dog, Remy might be concerned he would lose one of the kittens to her.]

[Hey that's ok, Remy would hate to interrupt her while she's preoccupied with such an important task.] Oh, the usual the ships carry for the top level kitchens, plus some other stuff Dave might had been experimentin' with, but I don't really suggest tryin' it. [He pauses for a moment to think.] I was tryin' to make some ice tea for the Bar from plants we picked up at the last planet, worked out pretty good. I got some of that here.

I could probably murder an iced tea. [ don't mind her while she invites herself to sit on the edge of his bed, still cuddling the kitten. ] If you don't mind.
