Ah, I guess first things first, gotta apologize to fellow Ducks that we goin’ to get less room on the ship now, ‘cause I just got these guys. [The camera pans away from Remy’s face to reveal three little kittens, all huddled together and looking a little lost as they sat on his bed on the WonderDuck.] There was a breeder in the Savvy guild who was raisin’ pest huntin’ pets, ‘nd these three were considered runts of the litter. Said they were too small ‘nd weak ‘nd was just goin’ to off them, ‘nd, well, couldn’t be havin’ that now.

So, wanna ‘ntroduce ya’ll to Figaro, [The camera moves, zooming in on each kitten as he names them off.], Oliver, ‘nd Lucifer. Hopefully they'll make great crew mates.

Also, ya know, if 'nyone got tips for keepin' cats, that be well welcomed too.

[he laughs a little quietly, but it's a laugh all the same] I'm glad you think I'm level-headed. Honestly, the craziness of this place is welcome. At least it's manageable.

Yeah, that seems to be the common thought with those who be from universes like us, like Kitty 'nd Kate. Seems trouble follows mutants no matter where they go or where they live. [In saying this, the Fleet was a touch too boring for Remy, but it was nice not having to deal with any anti-mutant comments or actions against him. If only home could be such a way.]

Oh yeah, ya meanin' others on the Fleet, or ya ran 'nto some of these Avengers or the like back home? Seems there be a bunch of other 'superhero' groups out 'nd 'bout, though haven't really ran 'nto them m'self, other than those here, but a few seem to know me from X-Men connections. [Once upon a time this would had been concerning for Remy, now he just went with the flow when others brought up they knew another version of him. There was only so much worrying you could do about dark little secrets getting out.]

Mm, the ones on the Fleet. I haven't met any of them back home, but it's the same for me - they know me because of the X-Men.

Same here, which be a little weird since I wasn't exactly on ya'll side when I was back home. [Quite the opposite in fact.] Kinda like someone sayin' 'oh hey, this is what ya future goin' to be like', 'nless it's a case of differences of universes again.

Difference in universes. [he shrugs a shoulder, lips pursing] I know a little about what I'm like in one - and things turning out that way is literally impossible. I didn't ask about the other.

It's strange, but not entirely unfamiliar.

Yeah. Am still tryin' to work out if it a good thing or not to be hearin' 'bout other versions of m'self. Despite spendin' so much time 'round people from different universes, still weird to think that all those multiverse ideas be real rather than just some sci-fi plot, let 'lone there bein' other copies of yaself in them.
