Okay. So. I barely wake up in bed on this strange ship afore I appear on another one, and all I get for my troubles is a cup of pudding? No "hello, here's a recording explaining everything"? A nice dinner, maybe? 'least it tastes like actual chocolate... [She sighs, then softens up.] I been watching the network a bit, so I'm just gonna skip the part where I demand to be taken home. So, uh, I guess I'll just say hello. I'm Kaylee, I love ships n' engines, so at least I'll feel a little at home here, but other than that, I ain't quite sure what's going on.

ACTION - SS Golden

[As she waits for responses, Kaylee can be found exploring her new home, poking at the various bits of protein available in the kitchen, looking around her new quarters, but she spends the most time in the engine room, enthralled.]

Nope, no humans at all! I mean there IS this parallel universe that my friend Twilight goes to sometimes, but they're not in Equestria at all, and coming here was the first time I'd EVER seen them!

... hunh. And we obviously don't got any talking ponies where I come from. Nothing that's human levels of intelligent except humans, in fact.

JUST humans? Wow, that's IS weird. Most of us in Equestria are ponies, but we have a LOT of other smart species all over the world!

Yeah, you'd think we'd've found SOMETHING after all these years, but nope.

So you're the ONLY smart species on your whole planet?

Universe, actually. Uh, I'm to understand that not everyone's from the same time and place and all... well, see, by my time, humans left Earth behind a while ago and live on other planets.

Oooh that's kinda cool! So do you already know a LOT about space ships? Back home, we haven't done a lot of space stuff at all!

[They have the CONCEPT of astronauts, but it's mostly science fiction.]

Ships is one of my favorite things to talk about! And engines and parts and... I just love 'em.

Yaaay that's great! The Atroma made me an engineer when they took me here too! I think I've got the hang of it, but I DEFINITELY mind pointers from somebody who ALREADY knows a lot about them!

Golly, I might have to get into cookin' if we can get real food. We had protein back home, too, but we didn't get fresh food all that often. Both because we wasn't exactly rich and because protein keeps a lot better in space.
