I didn't like my stay with Kylo Ren or your Stormtroopers, but the ships were nice to see.

Well, that is what they are designed to do and what we train our pilots to be capable of. [And Hux took pride in their pilots as well, not just the ships. The Empire had considered pilots expendable but Hux had noticed their fleet was far more effective when they actually invested in their pilots as valuable resources.]

I've never seen ships like them. [But that's not saying much.] I'm almost sorry I made your pilots crash.

No, you wouldn't have. [The First Order fleet may have started from the remnants of the Imperial navy but there had been nothing like it in the galaxy before in terms of technological advancements.]

I'm not going to debate that as it's rather pointless to by now, don't you think? [They didn't get the map but it was hardly the only thing they were after.

Also, it had been Ren who had failed in that regard. He refused to take all the blame on that one.]

Pointless to you, but we're learning how to escape your grasp. The Resistance is learning.

Without funding and support from the Republic the Resistance is certainly going to have to learn to be resourceful very quickly at least. [Droids were easier to manage most of the time. And they typically also weren't Force sensitive either.]

How about a truce for now? I think we can do that here, at the very least.
