[There's a cranky nineteen-year-old staring down through the feed. The feed is upside down. Someone should probably tell him.]

[He leans in, blue eyes taking over the feed.] Who are you supposed to be? Some other division? [It's not the first time he's been locked up in a lab. If this is supposed to terrify him, it's not working.] You're testing me, then.

Hope you don't have anything important in here. There won't be anything left when I'm done.

[He rotates the screen, then takes a moment to peer at Stefan through the camera.]

You're not the one who kidnapped me, are you.

[He shakes his head.] Not even remotely. None of us were, before you try that route either.

If I could've gone home, trust me, I would've.

[He lets out a breath through his teeth.]

Figures.

I have things to do. I can't just abandon them-- they'll be looking for me.

We all do. I never thought I'd wish to be back in medical school, but here we are.

Is there anything you can continue here? Or was that all dependent on your world?

[He snorts. Medical school is nothing compared to the hell on earth that is the Black Order.]

I'm supposed to be working so I can deal with something else, but that 'something else' is taken care of here. It means I'm out of things to do.

Well, what've you always wanted to do? Surely there was something you liked doing before you had all those responsibilities put on you.

[He squints. That's a pretty logical question-- were it directed at anyone else.]

I guess I could go back to being dead.

[Because of COURSE Allen was stalking Kanda's conversations with his friends.]

But he has regeneration powers! Anytime he gets a fatal hit, he just heals back up anyway!

When we first met, he tried to cut me open to see if my insides were human! Cut me open, Stefan! He didn't even apologise either! Then the next day I found him harassing people holding a memorial! He said they were disturbing his lunch! Then there's that stupid nickname he won't stop calling me, even now- he even let Lavi know the nickname too, so he tries to call me it!

And then on the way to our first mission...

[He is clearly going to go on if you let him.]

[Considering this is CLEARLY something Allen's kept bottled up for years, Stefan's not stupid enough to stop him right in the middle of a rant.

So with his usual vamp speed (re: invisible to the camera's eye), he's wandered off and returned with a cup of tea. Which he'll be calmly sipping as he nods and oohs and aahs at what seems to be particularly right moments:]

No! I can't believe he did that!

[He says, keeping his eye on Allen - or maybe it's the book he's got right behind his device. It's hard to tell.]

[AND HE KEEPS GOING!! He doesn't seem to notice anything is off about Stefan as he goes.]

...He did! He yelled at Miranda when she was already nervous and that just mean! ...

[And going...]

... And then on my sixteenth birthday? Lavi made us go on a blind date.

Worst Birthday I've ever had. And that's saying something! I mean, I know he probably doesn't remember it because it was at the castle, but I remember and I'm still pissed about it! ...

[and going, and going...]

...He actually kidnapped a Noah for her hair ribbon. Her hair ribbon. I was facing a bunch of Noah and all he cared about was having something to tie up his hair! What kind of priorities are those?!
