[hey droot flooters! how are those new augment glitches going? how's your crew? what fresh trouble have you been getting into? how are those jobs paying off? whether you're in your ship, on one of the moons, stuck on Marsiva, or hiding out on one of the waystations in-between, your audience wants to know what you're up to!

note: there are an unusual number of shoes on sale in the shops today. the ones on Abeo are pretty ugly.]

[there isn't much of an obvious difference when the mood boost finally wears off, beyond the fact that he's even more determined to spend every waking minute on the planet and not on the ship. he's always out, always moving, flitting from one bar and den to the next, either spending all of his money or mooching like his life depends on it.

it keeps his mind off of things. ...and the fact that he's currently got a helpful cloud of pheromones around him is helping him attract the attention that he's desperate for right now.

[and, when he is on the ship, it's usually after someone has dragged his sorry ass back home. and so, he spends most of his time sleeping, or half-asleep and shuffling his way through the ship, or apathetically stuffing food into his face when he remembers to.

at least until he gets the energy to shower and dress and fly out the door again, anyway.]

Huntress

[Guess who has been hanging out on the Huntress? That's right, this demon dad right here. He's been over here hiding from his captain and instead hanging out with your captain! So he's been wandering around the ship and doing little odds and ends because he actually knows the importance of being a good ~~house~~shipguest. Thankfully, he's been sticking to human form, so no crazy demonface for you, Huntress kids and Varric.]

Wonderduck

[Cole is totally not hiding from his captain idk what you're talking about. He's the mighty Belthazor, the former Source of All Evil, the greatest demon who has ever lived. He is not afraid of his fairy captain. He is totally not hanging out in the cockpit at his communications station which he has turned into some weird blanket/pillow fort/nest thing that he has taken to living in, no sir. He is so hanging out around the ship where he can be found.]

Abeo

[You know what we need? MORE MEAT. Which is why Cole is buying lots of meat. So when they leave these moons, the Wonderduck will be stocked up on meat for a while. So find him anywhere, at a restaurant eating or over at butcher shops haggling prices for meat in bulk or surprisingly not getting arrested! Because he knows how to keep his vanity under control, thank you very much.]

[ Much as Chris is learning a lot from smuggling via Varric's tutelage and much as he loves the libraries and other pursuits down on Adsum, sometimes it's just easier to be on the ship where things are... familiar, if not more comfortable. It's a surprise when he sees Cole just milling around for no apparent reason as far as he can tell, and Chris stops him from his ambling with a hand to his bicep. ]

Hey, Dad. What's up?

[He looks glad to see Chris and pulls him into a tight hug, laughing brightly.]

Kit, it's good to see you. I thought I'd come over and visit you for a little while since we haven't really seen much of each other lately outside of you shimmering over to sleep and that whole wing incident.

[ Hgrk. Hug is not unexpected, but hug is still hug. Chris reaches around to hug his dad back before pulling away, gaze turning critical and assessing. He's not going to even talk about all the sleep-shimmering incidents. This stupid show isn't good for his mental health. ]

Speaking of... You okay now? Back on your feet?

I'm fine, Chris. The poison was the worst part and that's out of my system.

[He looked down and patted the spot gently, not wincing even slightly at the contact.]

I've been stabbed worse than this before and it's healing nicely enough. Shame your Uncle Leo and Aunt Paige aren't here or they'd be able to heal this right up.

[ Chris isn't totally convinced, so he reaches out to poke at the spot for himself. Best way to check, obviously. ]

Yeah, and if they were here we'd have part of the Power of Three, too. Maybe that would be able to do something. My own magic is just bouncing around going nowhere here.

[ This powerlessness is strangely familiar and not and, no matter what, it sucks. ]

Accendo/Adsum
[Shirley's been diligently working for a couple weeks now, and she's earned enough money that she can afford a few luxuries. She's spending a little more time lately browsing markets, checking out anything that might make the Huntress feel a little more comfortable. Cute artwork, maybe? A few pillows? Something new for the kitchens would be useful.

Now and then she'll be trying on new outfits - nice skirts, cute blouses, and...how is that pair of boots? She's trying to refrain from buying too much, but there are some nice items around here...]

Huntress
[Shirley's starting to get comfortable with the lab, so she's putting a little more attention towards sprucing up the ship's interior. If they're going to be on the Huntress for a while then they might as well make it a proper home, after all.

She buys things with an eye towards what she guesses are her shipmates' tastes as well as her own. There might be a cozy-looking pillow here, an elegant figurine there...but of course, her judgment is hardly infallible.]

[ Chris's tastes really run pretty contrary to the image he gives off, but he's got to give Shirley points for trying. He notices, of course, when the ship starts to gain some personality and he can't say it's a bad idea, either. He just hates the permanence of it when he's so, so close to saving his cousin and fixing the future back home. He's impatient, that's all.

When he catches Shirley, it's in the lab. They're both theoretically stationed there and ever since Cole's run in with a poisonous angel wing, Chris has been more diligent in figuring this medicine stuff out. ]

Oh. Uh, hey Shirley.

[And Cole's just going to pretend that this actually hurts because he is the best dad.]

If we want part of the Power of Three, I'd hope that we'd get your mother or Piper instead. [Mostly Piper. Because she doesn't hate him as much as the other two.] You've been trying to get back home? What all have you tried?

[ Chris flinches back for a second before he realizes, then reaches out to shove at Cole because he is the best son. ]

Yeah, I know. [ Here, Chris sighs. ] Nothing too big yet. Just some basic spells to see if I couldn't punch through whatever this is. Been trying to stock up on potion supplies while we're near civilization but it's kind of hard to find what you need out in space, you know?

[The newest member of the crew hasn't really been around the ship all that much, instead hanging out on the moons and when actually on the ship, staying holed up in Jordan's room and actively avoiding people. But finally, eventually, Alex makes his way out to other parts of the ship, poking around and just seeing all there is to the ship, but still avoiding people for some odd reason.

And then Jordan's hungry and doesn't want to go get food, so it's Alex's job to brave the kitchen and try to figure out what to give his now husband to eat. He's currently poking a protein cube, sniffing it and actually looking kind of offended by it and for once isn't actually focused on the surroundings, so he doesn't actually scamper away.]

((please hit up my permissions post so I know if Alex can sense their emotions or not.))

[ It's not long before Malak steps into the kitchen, ready to make something for dinner. His sleeves are rolled up, and he stops on sight of Alex, in surprise. He hasn't seen him before, but it's pretty clear who he must be. ]

Oh, hello.

[He notices the emotions first, a gentle river washing over the room and Alex looks up and over at Malak, almost as if he's checking to see if he's a threat. No threat detected from him, Alex goes back to focusing on the protein cube, poking it and watching it wiggle in disgust.]

Hey. How the fuck do they think this is supposed to be food?

It's a little better mixed the right way.

If you don't want to cook, I leave pre-made meals in there. [ He nods at the freezer. ] Or I cook enough for everyone in the evenings.

[He can't help but make a face like that.] I don't believe that.

Really? Oh thank god. I cooked at home 'cause it was a challenge, but there's no way in hell I'm going to even try working with this shit. [And he throws the cube away and puts the plate to be cleaned before going to the freezer and looking for something to grab.] You don't need to worry about making me anything to eat because I don't eat like you guys do.

[That makes Cole laugh as he's shoved and he shoves him right back. Best family right here.]

Give me a list and I'll see about helping you stock up. [He then turns thoughtful.] This really isn't my area of expertise, but maybe you could try something like the blood to blood spell you did to pull me out of the void, but in reverse so that we could go to them instead of them coming to us.

[ Little bit of a laugh, even though Malak is a little predisposed to dislike Alex. He didn't like his boyfriend much. ]

There's a lot of the chili flavor. It matches well with the chicken and cheddar, so I've done a lot of that... there's also teriyaki chicken and vegetables.

[ He's running a little out of creativity. Please GOD give him a new kitchen next month. ]

What do you eat?

[Now he's free from pheromones, Crowley has taken to wandering around this fine moon, finally enjoying all the alcohol and indulgence. He's certainly not taking any jobs while he's here; why would he, when he doesn't even do his Fleet-regulated job, but he can be seem wandering around, enjoying getting drunk and the like. ]

[Well, he's not going to like Alex much since he's just generally a massive jerk. Sorry, Malak.]

Ugh, that sounds awful. I'd tear my hair out if that was all I had to fucking work with.

[There's a bit of a pause at the question because he does not like to specify his eating habits with grays.]

Nothing you need to worry about. Jordan takes care of that for me.

[If he opens the right cabinet, he'll probably find Komaeda snoozing in there, curled up with some brooms and a mop. He may or may not have a foot in the empty mop bucket.

He was cleaning, okay? And he got tired. And closed the door behind him. And snuggled up with a broom.]

[By the time Shirley comes back to the ship, Komaeda will have returned from his journeys as well. He's picked up a few odds and ends, nothing particularly large, or even noticeable. He doesn't want to intrude, after all.

The reason he's come back is also the same reason she'll find, when she first steps inside the ship, that everything looks a little.... um, cleaner. Not that it was particularly dirty before, no, but everything just seems extra-clean and hyper-tidy.

If she opens any cabinets, she's also going to find that everything has been tidied there as well. Komaeda himself is diligently scrubbing the showers, whistling to himself with his hair tied up under a handkerchief and his bangs bobby-pinned up. He looks like a Japanese housewife right now.]

[Varric does a doubletake on his way back to his office. He stops, looks at Cole.]

I don't think you'll find your son in a cupboard.

It's a challenge. I don't mind taking care of people.

[ It's a clear avoidance, and Malak doesn't like it. He doesn't like Jordan, and doesn't trust either of them. There is a deep, wary guardedness in him. ]

[He does, looking for something for whatever reason and just stops. and stares for a good long moment. It's strange, but then again Cole has recently fallen asleep on steaks and is actually insane, so he has no place to judge Komaeda in his sleeping habits and locations. After his staring, he reaches down and pokes him in the shoulder to wake him up.]

You alive in here? C'mon, wake up and you can go head to the bunks to sleep somewhere that you won't hurt yourself.
