Throughout the month, members aboard the Tourist might notice subtle(ish) decorations going up. A paper garland of candied apples here, some adorable paper Jack-O-Lanterns there... The ship was destined to be a Pinterest board the moment Kara was brought on it. Sorry not sorry. ]

It's getting better. Just slowly which she understands. It's just hard for Sascha too. And hard for her to see either or both of them hurting.]

[ he's been trying his hardest - he even went with kara to deliver him one of the bears he got, made it an eyepatch and everything. it's just that his hardest isn't going to so easily be enough. he's mostly recovered, but it was still a serious trauma. ]

no really, it's important to him that everyone has a good time. they don't have equal powers, equal understanding of technology, equal amounts of loved ones from home to provide them comfort. but everyone who chooses to walk into that haunted house or that party is going to get to experience the same conditions if it kills him, dammit! (ok that's going too far, he's not going to die for a holiday but you get the drift). ]
