[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

He'll definitely want to meet the cool new superhero on the scene - [ though that 'too' is making his heart perform crazy flips ] but I was thinking seeing him in action. I have every article and video of him saved up, we could have so many movie nights -- [ bouncing excitedly.

He's - and I - and then he - and the world - and - [ so many flustered hand gesturing, how does he explain this, she's going to think he's so pathetic. well, it's true, he is pretty pathetic, and the superman shrine on his hard drive would have definitely clued her in on that if she didn't already get the memo.

he deflates. ]

Forget it. Nobody gets it. [ cisco comes the closest, but barry is like kara is to him. he didn't have that hero to look up to from afar.

he goes back to sweeping. ]

Hey. [Curls her arms around him from behind which can't make sweeping easy.] Give me a chance, handsome.

[winn]

[ he drops his voice. they may have been left alone for the moment, but who knows when cisco or the other volunteers could walk in. ]

I know I still don't know him, but there were times he was my only friend.

[ and yes, he knows it was just an image, a fantasy in his head, but it was more than he had anywhere else. ]

Just knowing he was out there, it made a difference.

[She tightens her hold and kisses the back of his neck.] I'm glad you had that at least. [And it hurts that it wasn't more.]

[ he pats her arms, and sniffles. definitely not crying! it's just a stuffy nose. ]

Hey, I'm fine. I have more friends than fingers now -

[She loosens her grip but only to turn him around for a front-facing hug instead.] How it always should've been. How it always will be if I have anything to say about it.

[winn]

[ returning the hug, he holds her tight. ]

You're trying to make me cry, aren't you? [ it's a weak joke, barely masking the fact that he really is on the verge of tears here. ]

Cisco dared me to. I get an extra scoop of peanut butter ice cream if I do it. [Rubbing his back.] I love you.

[winn]

[ he huffs a choked up little laugh ] You sold me for an extra scoop? I'm worth at least two -

[ leaning his head against her neck, he breaths her in, savoring the moment. ]

I love you.

He drives a hard bargain.

[Fondly.] You're worth all the ice cream and all the ice cream makers. And then some.

[winn]

You need to work on your negotiation skills.

[ he wouldn't say he's worth all the ice cream makers. sure, he's definitely happy that he's more important to her than cisco and hank - he should be! but he's not worth as much as them, and definitely not more. ]

[To be fair, she was just thinking the actual machines and not the people who run them. But it will NEVER BE CLARIFIED NOW! Not that he isn't more important to her. She just wouldn't make that comparison so casually.]

Okay. Come home with me now and I promise the mess will still be here for us tomorrow.

[winn]

It's like sitting down after a long workout - if I do it, there's no way I'm going back. 'sides, I'm totally awake now, I'll just keep you up -

I see. Making me work for the negotiation. In that case, I will take you home, wear you out, let you get rest, and then I'll come back to clean tomorrow and you can keep resting.

[winn]

So. Tempting.

[ he practically whines, it really truly is. ] But we're in this together.

[ it may be a little thing, but she wouldn't leave him, and he won't leave her. ]

Okay, you're right. I'm bad at negotiating. [She kisses him.] But you are doing nooothing productive tomorrow.

[winn]

Mmmhm...I kinda promised Steve I'd help him make a straw-like man. [ what vacation? he has no idea what you're talking about! ] But that should be an easy gig -

[Punching him in the arm.] Winn Schott! [Frustrated and loud!]

Ow - what!

[ he's not used to this anymore. ]

You planned this beautiful, fun, great day for everyone and you worked your fingers off for it and you need rest! You need to take care of yourself!

Noooo. Don't be sorry. Be good to yourself too. [Hugging him again. Surprise! Okay, she isn't as drunk, that doesn't mean she isn't drunk. But even if this would play out a little differently sober the sentiment behind it is very real.] You take care of us all the time and you never let me take care of you and you don't do it and I'm worried.
