[McCoy has a blanket wrapped around his shoulders when the broadcast flips on; he's still cold, by God, and he's not above looking a bit silly in an effort to warm up. There's unoffensive music playing in the background and McCoy's eyebrow is fairly twitching in time to it.]

Two questions, for whoever's listening. [He's read everything he can get his hands on, but some things are better from people he can actually question. He holds up his index finger.] Where in the hell are we? I can't make heads or tells of what I'm seein' here.

[He holds up a second finger.] Where can I get a drink? Doesn't have to be good; it just has to burn.

No matter how it works, my point still stands. You're even worse than me at being a patient, too. Poor Chloe is simply not prepared to deal with that side of you.

I'm a perfectly acceptable patient. [You know, the kind who's not often a patient. Best patient.] Who?

Right. Let's ask the nurses when we get back home and see about that.

Chloe is the current "doctor" on the Tourist, but it's more like she's in charge of the infirmary than anything.

My nurses love and respect me. [Shut up, Jim. Don't try to incite medbay subordination here.]

Doesn't have the training?

Sure, when you're the one giving out treatments, not taking them.

Nope, not that I can see. I don't think to many people here do, to be honest. We even have children aboard the ships.

That's, uh. Not good. [If things go wrong, they need professionals. As resourceful as some of these people might be, that may not always been enough.]

_{[ He nodded. He didn't like it either, and the implants made up for some of it, but experience counted for so much more. ]}

Hence why I said you had better not be sick when you get over here. I need you functioning, Leonard.

[Yeah, the implants. Don't get him started. He's finally not yelling about it.]

I'm fine. Why the sudden worry?

No big reason. I just really don't want our reunion to be me sitting by your bedside trying to keep you in it.

[Jim, that's a hell of a leap from "I'm a little chilled" to "sitting at the bedside." McCoy simply blinks at him for a moment.]

I didn't think I was dying. I'd be the first to know.

[What is this conversation even? Why are you picking on him? What kind of friend are you?]
