I didn't realize you knew them all or that Poe was your wingman. Was he good at it?

Well, we didn't really get a chance to try it out, but I know he would've been.

We'll find someone to man your wings. I guess I'm qualified as a pilot but I'm not entirely sure what a wingman actually does.

A wingman helps a guy get the girl, or in my case, a girl get the guy. They're a hype man! They make introductions and hype and then back off when it's appropriate.

Like, "this is Kara. She bathes regularly and has shiny hair?"

More like, "Oh, this is my friend Kitty I was telling you about, Winn. She can walk through walls and is from Chicago".

Mmm, but would you have set us up if we hadn't done that so efficiently on our own?

Do you want to? End up with someone here I mean. I mean, you must at least kind of want to since you had a wingman and all, but there's a lot that comes with it. Expiration dating. You know, unless one of you are willing to relocate and that's even a thing that can happen.

Dating is dating. I thought part of the deal is that it might not last forever. And there are already so many reasons I'm probably going to be alone forever, but it'd be nice to think for once, when I don't have to hide who I am, I'd be able to get someone to like me.

[For a moment she wants to ask more about having to hide herself in National City, but that's more for her own future pondering than anything that will help Kara now.] Why do you think you're going to be alone forever?

Well, I'm an alien, with no eligible alien suitors so, that's kind of a bad start to begin with. And it's not like I've been super lucky in love.

Unlucky is a type of luck, right?

Do you only want to date another alien?

No, definitely not. But it's just complicated.

Yeah, I get complicated. I never thought I'd be dating a human. I mean, I did back when I thought I was human, but not so much after that when the world was falling apart and everyone hated each other.

I mean, I want to. I didn't mean to make it sound like I didn't want to. I will definitely date humans. It's just not easy.

Is crushing them a concern? [Things Kitty doesn't actually have to worry about for 100, Alex.]

Yeah, I meant more like holding on too tightly or throwing someone threw the bed instead of on the bed in the heat of the moment. Or just having to hold back the hold time. [Like Piotr always had to do for her. They were both mutants but the man was a human tank.]
