[ To be honest, the ship is probably the physical manifestation of a hangover from the Halloween party, but whatever! NOVEMBER IS UPON US ]

Of course. It did not seem to be the most comfortable place one can sleep at, I thought mayhaps a blanket would be of assistance.

[ she looks down at working materials, a thin fabric, light blue and some silver thread. ]

A new gown. There is so little to do on the planet, I thought mayhaps I could fill my hours indoors, instead.

It definitely upgraded it.

[ sleeping at odd places isn't a new experience for him, but he hasn't done it in a while, so his back is definitely unhappy with him, as is his neck.

It's pretty. I think it's the best course of action with this one. [ nodding. this planet gives him the creeps. he's glad he doesn't have to worry about margaery on top of everything else. ]

[ not something she'd admit to just anyone. fear is often recognized as weakness and weakness is something she will not allow to be connected to her. she is seven-and-ten, after all and a queen-to-be and months after her arrival, she expects her audience to expect a breaking point.

she won't allow it but this, well. she has a weakness for him, after all. ]

I looked upon it at night, there was a shadow above the woods, shaped as a beast. It seems so unsettling.

[ he puts a hand on her shoulder and gives it a little squeeze, nodding, so she won't feel alone with her fear. he knows how badly it sucks to be surrounded by people who are brave before everything when you yourself feel anything but. for once, his tendency to fear might prove useful. ]

[ it feels like they've been at this stop forever. couldn't it have happened at the hand holding planet? he feels so cheated. it was the best planet they visited so far, and he spent 16 days of their stay there - in a coma. how is that fair? couldn't he sleep through the toxic moon? the factions, while so many of his friends were asleep as well? this hellhole? ]

When you're feeling unsettled, you can always come to me, or call me if I'm on the Windrose. [ he feels like he should be on the tourist right now. it's hard. but, he reminds himself, she has kara here, and jim. they'll keep her safe if anything happens, much better than he ever could.

still, he feels like he should be there. with margaery, he feels like for once he brings something to the table other people don't. ] We can be unsettled together. [ he offers her a little smile. it's always better with company. ]

So much unsettled me in my realm. Men fought wars and none seemed ready to speak of how to cease them. It was my hope Renly would, he was quite different than most of the men I have met.

[ she speaks of him with a tender sort of affection but perhaps, not with the sort of love a wife should feel for her husband. ]

His death was unsettling, as well. Murdered by a shadow, some said.

[ loras blamed a woman of flesh and blood but she did not know what to think. ]

Mayhaps it is not odd, to be unsettled by shadows.

Still, the day we allow it to happen for far too long would be a sad one indeed and I am quite determined that it shall never happen. I shall tell you something else - there are two new girls from my realm here.

[ most of it she's told him before - it does little to stop the urge to pull her into a full on hug and never let go. his grip on her shoulder tightens slightly. ]

There's a saying in my world - all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Never give up on that cause.

[ she'd be safer if she did, but she wouldn't be margaery then. he wants to believe in her, to believe she can make her world a better place - because otherwise he will find no comfort in her going back to it. ]

Are they friends?

[ it is gallant and brave but most decisions are not this nor that. at the end of the day, it all ends in councils and on battlefields.

I have never met them before now though both of them have certainly heard of me. Meera Reed is one, I know of her house and Jeyne, Robb Stark's Lady wife.

[ please excuse his grimace at the mention of 'robb stark', it's involuntary. ]

Are their houses friendly to yours? I know you're friends with Sansa - that should potentially make this Jeyne person an ally, right? [ look, he tries. ]

[ she chuckles, no, downright giggles and kisses his cheek ]

are you trying to think of strategies for my sake? it is very sweet.

[ it almost feels like they somehow leveled up here. he smiles back at her, so happy to hear her giggling - it's almost like she's a real teenager when she does that. ]

It is quite good, fear not. Only that I did not know you kept up with alliances and houses.

[ she smiles, a touch impressed. ]

Our houses are hardly allied in Westeros but here, I do reckon I can trust house Stark and their loyalty, if only due to Sansa's love, as you have said.

I pay attention.

[ she's important to him, he listen to her. ]

Once they get to know you, I'm sure they'll love you on their own too. [ though he really doesn't want robb around her. ]
