Furiosa - Voice
Voice - to First Breath Members
For anyone that knew her, Lily Evans has left the Fleet. [Furiosa's voice is a little more subdued than usual. She'd been grateful they were able to recover Max, but to come back to the ship and find Lily gone had been a kick in the gut.]
[She could only hope Lily had a better life to go back so. For now, though they'd have to figure out what to do with all the fresh food that had been accumulating on their ship. Furiosa couldn't let it go to waste - not in memory of her friend.] She left behind some fresh food, so you're free to it. It should be enjoyed; it's what she would have wanted.
Voice - to Tyrion
I'm going to stay with Max on the Starstruck for a few days. You have the helm. Contact me if you need anything.
Tyrion
Fine.
no subject
I'll be back as soon as I can.
no subject
Take your time. I am not going anywhere.
voice to action
[Small hesitation, because she can tell he sounds a bit off, but most of her attention is focused on helping Max recover, so she doesn't feel she can spare any more time just then. She cuts the feed.]
[A couple days later, she stops back on the First Breath, in part to check up on their new crewmate, as well as pick up some necessities.
Shoving more plants at Max always helps what.][One last stop before she leaves is to check up on Tyrion and see if anything of note has happened since she's been gone. It takes her a little bit to find him, but eventually she's knocking on the doorframe to engineering.]
Hey, got a minute?

Cara | OTA
Or she's dragged some poor animal that she's caught and "cooked" to the kitchen and is poking it with her fork with low enthusiasm. ]
Kitchen
Looking to take over for Lily?
[Don't worry, she's not serious.]
no subject
[ Cara hasn't gotten around to meeting the crew. It's not something she has experience in or comfortable with. ]
no subject
[Excuse Furiosa, she's just going to reach over and tear off a bit of that meat for herself.]
no subject
[ And she knows it, but she's not going to trust Atroma food. Warily, she watches Furiosa's movement but it's out of habit rather than distrust. ]
We had servants for that.

Security
Sorry, I didn't realize someone else was in here.
no subject
Why are you here?
no subject
My sword was taken when I got here. I'm not defenseless, but...I'm not comfortable being unarmed, either. Problem is, I don't know how to use these.

[Kaidan stares at the cup of pudding for longer than might be strictly necessary before deciding he doesn't have much of an appetite. Instead, he brushes the confetti off his armor with quiet annoyance and turns to leave.
The first order of business is getting a good luck at this ship, and his first impressions aren't great. The thing looks fairly space-worthy, to the point that he things even a quarian would be embarrassed to be seen in here.
He starts the inspection in the bridge, pausing to tinker with communications station regardless of his augment, hoping in vain for more insight into the network or the change to get out a signal. From there, he makes a methodical but cursory examination of the rest of the ship, lingering only in the armory where he takes the time to get a closer look at the supplied weapons. He ends up in the cargo hold, where he ends his personal tour by sitting on a crate with a loud sigh and cradling his head in his hands.]
First day - Broadcast/Voice to First Breath
This isn't quite what I expected when they said I'd be transferred to a ship. Usually there's more...protocol. Anyway...sorry, I didn't do this to complain. Major Alenko, here. If we haven't bumped into each other yet, I suppose I'm part of your security team?
Is there anywhere I can report? [Anything he can do?]
Bridge
[Furiosa herself walks in and leans against the doorway. She's still lacking a replacement prosthetic, hey left arm ending in a min just beyond the elbow.]
So, you're the new blood?
no subject
Uh...yes...ma'am...[He knows the ships have some kind of command structure, but there's no easy way to recognize who might be in charge here, or how he should address them. Just out of habit, his arm lifts to snap into a salute, and only belatedly he wonders if he's overthinking the chain of command or if saluting a one-armed person would be considered rude. Sheepishly, he quickly tucks his hand against his side again, and clears his throat]
Sorry...[And for which of the many imagined insults is up to Furiosa to decipher] I was just getting familiar with the ship.

Have you been on a ship like this before?

You'd better not be turning up the volume on that without asking. [His ears are very sensitive okay ;;]
no subject
It wasn't the first thing on my list....[Quick, try for humor] Fifth or sixth, tops.
no subject
No harm done, I guess. My name is Yuan, I'm the ship's communications officer. Which of course means that's my equipment there. So you're aware in the future, I have particularly sensitive hearing - if you had turned it up, I'd get a pretty unpleasant surprise the next time I tried to use the audio. [Hence the grouching.]

Except for the one time he was instead in the kitchen, staring in a nonplussed manner at a smoking pot full of bits of possibly-meat, synthetic noodles, and vegetable substitute.]
You know what, I'm going to blame the substitutions for this.
[Failed at making [Meat Stew].]
Tyrion Lannister - OTA
He has his manager job, he disappears for that, but he's otherwise Not There on the ship unless there is an emergency.
If you want to find him? Find him there. Quietly working on his plant tanks.]

Have you heard the strange message that hit our ships? Perhaps I should be turning out more weapons.
