[It's been a month of loss for the Windrose. We've lost Ordis, Tenno, and now our captain The Vision. We could probably use some visitors and ship togetherness.]

[She adjusts the light accordingly.]

[Rhiannon boops softly, causing Misty to turn and look at her for a moment.]

I think she knows he's gone.

[Or maybe she's projecting. It's hard to say.]

Yeah? How is she taking it? [Might not really be asking about the bot.]

[Misty takes a deep breath, her voice cracking a little as she speaks.]

Not good.

[passingthrough]

She's not alone. [No one is. She'd be surprised if anyone on the crew was unmoved by Vision's departure. Well, maybe Lilly? But if there'd been more time she wouldn't guess that.]

[mistyday]

What're we gonna do without him?

[passingthrough]

You probably don't mean hierarchy. [Pretty clear the first mate will be captain so that's Wrath. But as much as Wrath is a great Wrath she's not The Vision.]

...Maybe he'll come back. [Reaching for comfort that isn't really there. Maybe he will. Maybe he'll even remember them. But maybe he won't. They still have to deal with things as they are and that means hurting for awhile.]

Is it selfish to say I hope he does?

Probably, but I'm right there with you. He could be immortal. What's a little longer slumming it here?

I wonder which he would choose.

[passingthrough]

I don't know. A lot of his team is here. Of course they're probably home too. [because since when does anything ever make sense?] There's also no proof he went home.

[mistyday]

What d'you mean? That's what everyone says happens when someone disappears.

[passingthrough]

[She looks up and shakes her head.] They're probably right.

[But Misty isn't a child and Kitty isn't very good at fairytales.]

I just know it's what people usually thought in the other place I was at and I'm here now.

[mistyday]

I don't know what to think anymore.

[She knows what she wants, and that's to go with Stefan, but it's hard to put her hopes into that.]

[She nods her head.] Same.

I know I don't want to go home. Getting kind of used to this being alive and maybe having a future thing. I'm glad that's not the kind of difference he's up against. [If he's home he's okay. If he's in another of these places he'll figure it out. If he's in some kind of storage locker they might bring him back.]

[mistyday]

You're dead too? I didn't know that.

Surprise. [She gives her a soft look. Her death isn't a secret exactly, but it feels like a burden to put on the people around her when she talks about it.]

I mean, it hasn't happened. I still had a few seconds before they pulled me out for the first round of all this. So, I've never actually died. I just know what I'm going back to. What Kurt remembers...

[If anyone is going to understand, it's Misty. This isn't a burden it's...a strange sort of comfort, to know she's not the only one.]

Weird ain't it? To most people this is a prison but... For us it's a gift. Sometimes a real shitty gift, I'll grant that, but I'm tryin' to make the most of it.

[Kitty nods.] I'd call it a second chance, but I guess it's my third.

And...recently it's kind of sucked. [She misses Vision.] But I have Winn and my crewmates aren't too bad. [Little smile.]

And time. Potential. Hope. [She didn't have any of those back home.]

[mistyday]

Hope.

[She offers a small smile of her own.]

That's the most important thing.

Keeps you going even when sometimes you wish it wouldn't. No wishing like that today though. [Not for her. Hopefully not for Misty.]

No, 'cause we got each other and I know Vision would want us to keep working together as a crew.

[passingthrough]

I have no plans of switching ships. [Even if it would make sense sometimes. She's a little nomadic now with the way she and Winn always spend their nights together but neither gives up their ship so they are always in one place or the other at least to sleep.] Hopefully they have no plans of making me disappear.

Me too.

[That gets a smile from her.] Fresh out of magic, but I have a feeling coven is to you what team is to me. [Family.]
