[ When the broadcast opens up, it is to a dimly lit room with very little decoration. Pietro has been in the fleet for a few months, but he's not collected much to show for it. His expression is pensive, and he takes a moment before he begins speaking. ]

I have been thinking about this for quite some time, watching others come and go.. [ He sighs, rubbing at his cheek. ]

What has this place done to you or your memories? Have you gained anything from being here that you could not have wherever home is meant to be?

[ After his broadcast, Pietro can be found sitting in the kitchen with a mug of hot tea if anyone would rather address him in person. ]

Well, I'm dead back home so everything here is just extra credit. [Wondering if he knows about his fate.]

You are happy here, at least?

[ Alas, he has not had the opportunity to talk to Wanda about that particular hang-up. ]

[That's a lot for Wanda and the others to hold on to. Not that hearing it about yourself is ever easy.]

I'm happy here. Not having the best couple of weeks with Vision and some of my other crew and Finn disappearing, but usually happy.

I've mostly been indifferent to the coming and going of others, but this time was different.

[ This time, his sister lost someone important to her and he's not sure how he can help. ]

It takes awhile to get attached. [Certainly people had been coming and going since she arrived, but Vision is the first to really hit her hard.]

How's Wanda? [She can guess that has something to do with it for Pietro.]

About as well as she can be. [ After dying, him being asleep for an entire month, Vision leaving... ]

The hits just keep coming. [But she figures having her brother back makes up for a lot of it.]

I am as well as can be.

[ Sort of but not really. ]

Seems like that's going around, huh?

Are you looking for meaning in this place? [Thinking back to his original question.]

I don't need it to have meaning. I was curious if others are having the same doubts.

It makes me wonder why people go when they do. If there is purpose behind it or if it is random.

[She shrugs.] Ratings I guess. As much as that's a purpose. Or maybe it is random. If there's a common thread I haven't found it. [She worries about the people who look too hard for it when it might not be there like Winn.]

Why let people make these connections only to take them away again? It can't simply be for the ratings, or half the fleet would go missing.

Maybe that would be too much for the audience. Gotta keep them happy too. Or maybe the show and the ratings aren't a thing. Hard to know.

...I'm sorry. [because what else can you say? They are largely helpless here and they aren't people used to feeling helpless a lot of the time.]

It's not me I'm concerned for.

[ Sure, he and Vision had been trying to be friends, but Wanda-- ]

I figured. Still hard watching someone you care about in that position.

I am not sure what I should be doing for her.

Being her favorite brother. There's no special fix. It just sucks until it sucks less.

It's a good thing that I am her only brother, then. So she doesn't get to pick favorites.

I find that helps.
