[ When the broadcast opens up, it is to a dimly lit room with very little decoration. Pietro has been in the fleet for a few months, but he's not collected much to show for it. His expression is pensive, and he takes a moment before he begins speaking. ]

I have been thinking about this for quite some time, watching others come and go.. [ He sighs, rubbing at his cheek. ]

What has this place done to you or your memories? Have you gained anything from being here that you could not have wherever home is meant to be?

I guess so? I mean, my memory is still really bad, but I don't seem to forget stuff the way I used to. And being able to like walk and run and fight is pretty nice.

Memory can be improved, and clearly, you are a perfect example of it in action.

I don't know if it's that important here. I mean fighting. This is a weird place.

The ability to fight is important. It is a way to show that you stand for something.

Yeah! I always thought so too. Um. Like after I got injured, all my friends said I could still kind of stand up for things with art or whatever. But it feels a lot less satisfying than breaking someone's face.

That, I can agree upon. Nothing is quite as satisfying as letting out your aggression via physical violence.

I don't see how art or 'whatever' feels quite the same in terms of catharsis.

Exactly! Unless you're like... whapping someone with a painting that has a really heavy frame or something. I mean, I guess it was important, what I did. It pissed off the government a lot. But... yeah. You get it.

That will only do so much good, I'm afraid. Most men worth fighting are far more sturdy than a heavy portrait frame.

You're totally right. You do a lot of fighting?

Not as much here as I do back home. There aren't many who can match my speed or my enthusiasm.
