[ When the broadcast opens up, it is to a dimly lit room with very little decoration. Pietro has been in the fleet for a few months, but he's not collected much to show for it. His expression is pensive, and he takes a moment before he begins speaking. ]

I have been thinking about this for quite some time, watching others come and go.. [ He sighs, rubbing at his cheek. ]

What has this place done to you or your memories? Have you gained anything from being here that you could not have wherever home is meant to be?

[ After his broadcast, Pietro can be found sitting in the kitchen with a mug of hot tea if anyone would rather address him in person. ]

Um, well... this place's given me new memories, and good ones at that. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

[He pauses, peering at the camera as if it'd give him more insight.]

We can't control being here, but I'd uh, I'd like to think that we can learn a lot from each other too.

I'm sure there is much to learn from others.

[ There's much they can't control in this place, but the people do make it better.. ]

Have you learned anything particular that you've kept with you?

A lot of things, but uh, narrowing it down a little - I've learned about a lot of different faiths and cultures, and a little of their languages too. I've learned about medicines that can achieve the impossible, and I can make a pretty damn good pizza.

[He grins at that last one, folding his arms with some easy confidence.]

I'm sure I could've learned that last one at home, but you know. It's more fun with friends.

I hadn't thought it would be possible to achieve pizza in a place with no concept of cheese.

Me either, but when my friend gets determined, he'll cook up the impossible.

If you want the recipe, I can write it down.

I am not the greatest cook, but I know a few others who are passable.

If you are willing to share, I will push the challenge at them.

[ Aka he will pout at them until they make it. ]

More than willing. Or - hey, you know what? I'll do you one better.

I've got some leftover dough, so we can make pizza whenever. Just tell me when you're free, and I'll give your friends the recipe too.

I have nothing but time and little else to do on most occasions.

[ Feed me, Seymour. ]

In that case... let's go make ourselves a pizza.

[This is probably a very bad impulse decision, but #yolo, etc.]

[But he's still gonna rummage around for some extra veggies to top it off with!]

[ In fact, he looks quite comfortable where he's sitting. ]

You would be correct, it is. Do I need to gather anything ahead of time?

Just powdered milk and vinegar. I'll show you the rest when I get there.
