While this place can be trying at times, our hosts haven't done anything to directly threaten us. [ah... that might not be clear]

I know that was my first worry when I arrived, it could initially seem like a very dangerous situation to be kidnapped so suddenly.

That said, it isn't always peaceful here. But at least most of the people here are quite kind in their own way, and many are making the best of this odd situation.

I have been here for a few months, so at least I should be able to tell you about the basic things that we know.

You see how we're talking to each other through this screen? A television is a device that can also play images and sound. Everything that we do here on these ships, is recorded and is projected to these televisions throughout the galaxy.

Ah... that is, if our hosts are to be believed. That is the reason that we've been given for our captivity.

So far everything that we've encountered aligns with their story. If it is true, then what they're doing is... [she tries to restrain a slight sigh] deplorable.

But I believe that we will be able to find a way to return home. There are so many of us here, and many talented, interesting, and intelligent people. With so many heads coming together, I'm sure we'll discover something.
