[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.

It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.

Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.

[The area of displaced earth churns for a few moments as the ground lifts, and it turns out he is lucky enough to catch at least the landshark's backside as it thrashes against the force pulling it backwards.

Kaidan's jaw drops open at the sight because he isn't sure how that's possible, but there's no time for that. He can tell it's getting a foothold and will pull away in a moment. He decides to not let that happen.

Eschewing his gun, he gestures upwards as a whip-crack of sound echoes around him, blue light coming to life across the surface of his armor like a spiderweb. Biotics require line of sight, and this would have been impossible if it weren't for Adalwolfe revealing his target. The flickering light wraps around the landshark the next moment and starts to lift right out of the ground. Weightless from the biotic field and lifted by the mage's force magic, it shoots upward at a pace likely neither of them were expecting]

If only you could impress that on some of the other people we know.

[It was the kind of voice they could have had on their side during the whole mess with Barnes and the Accords. But then the fact she wasn't there was part of the problem, in a weird way.

No use dwelling on that now. When it came to his reactions to her...]

[Kaidan, breathing heavily, moves to stand up.

The landshark almost does the same thing, roaring defiantly a last time, and the Spectre fires a couple more shots into it's throat to put it down for good.

Absolve might be the wrong word. It wasn't an easy situation for anyone.

[He blinks back grateful surprise, reaching out to take her hand. Even now, he still wonders if he deserves her kindness.]

Then let's get out of here and go for a spin. My treat, of course.

[He doesn't have that much faith in Atroma's competency. Or the competency of half the fleet, ok]

[She hurries along behind him to keep up; that dog is way too full of energy.]

I like animals, so I thought it would be fun! But no one else in the center wanted to take him out, and the poor thing was crying... I just couldn't say no.

[She reaches into a nearby bowl and picks out a circular bath bomb, with the spa's logo stamped into the top, the other side blank. She offers it out to him.]

You just need something with two sides, right? This could work!

Oh, we've got heated baths, no problem. It's the spa treatment that's expensive! This whole experience... yeah, I don't really do that back home.

[The trader isn't stupid enough not to pick up on the idle threat. He sure takes a moment to calculate it in his mind. As much as he hated to part with money, any chance that this guy isn't bluffing would be disastrous.

So after a moment, he makes an annoyed sound, then grabs a coat from behind the counter and chucks it over at Sora. He also pulls out a bag of money intended to pay Kaiden and dumps it on the counter. Then, he grumbles something along the lines of "whatever, just get the small brat outta here" and disappears into the back room.

Which of course, Sora hears and in his own hotheaded ways, can't help but yell after him]

Hey! At least I'm not a cheat!

[Grumble grumble, it won't stop him from putting that coat on quickly because my goodness this planet is cold. ]

Ohhh. Yeah, I can see the confusion, then. It sounds kind of like how my world used to be- with the powers being hard to believe at first, I mean. Once it became more widespread it got harder to deny.

[She tilts her head to one side, trying to get a better look at his weapon.]
