It seems like they have a form of teleportation. You'll probably experience it again when you're sent to your first ship. Well, other than the one you're on now.

It certainly looks it, but there's a proper fleet of smaller ones that we're sent off to. Mine is called the Pathstone. The mothership you're on is the Marsiva, I believe.

If you explore around a bit, you may be able to find the viewing deck to get a proper look.

Mothership... Is there any particular reason they've elected to keep everyone off the Marsiva after a certain amount of time? It's rather spacious, and the supplies seem plentiful; it's well-kept and.... luxurious, if I may say so.
