At the risk for earning a reputation as a party planner, I have a thing for everyone to attend again. Don't worry, lots of other people are helping pull it together. It's going to be on New Year's Eve, but the real event is the countdown to Winn's birthday which is also on the first. It's going to be in a club we rented out for this in the red shift district. Starts around seven-ish. Ends when you pass out?

It's kind of a surprise maybe? At least the part where it's for his birthday. And if you don't know Winn but you still want to come that's fine too. You can trade a gift for Winn for a free drink at the bar. Otherwise, bring some money. Cake's on us though.

[Birthday/New Year's Party]
[The space is well decorated and so glittered you can probably tell Wrath was part of the team putting this together. Lots of Winn's friends came out to help whether it was getting decorations up, managing food, music, or chipping in to buy out the space and a drink for anyone bringing a gift. Not to mention drinks for the birthday boy all night.

There's a table for presents and another one with a spread of openly available food though the bar has appetizers you can buy too. There's a big cake at one end because of course there is and some punch that didn't start the night spiked at least. There's space for dancing and a karaoke machine set up on a small raised platform for those who want to try their hand at entertainment.

The night really kicks off when Winn walks in and instead of a balloon drop there's a fluffy blue stuffed bear drop. Feel free to take one of those home. There are a lot.

When midnight comes closer some people will file out to one of the observation areas to get a good view of the nebula for the big countdown. Bring your own person to kiss!

[ to the westeroi of the fleet, the last few weeks have been anything but simple. margaery spent them worrying over sansa, of her feelings after the departure of jon and bran and the arrival of lord stark's lady wife.

partings were such difficult things, especially when made so abruptly. It made the lack of Tyrells in the fleet a small advantage, she had no family to lose.

except for her metaphorical one but a name day was no time to think of such sad things. she comes to the party dressed in the colors and flowers of house tyrell.

Knowing little of this holiday does not stop her from wishing 'happy new year' to those she passes. One certain thing about Margaery, she's easily adaptable. ]

[ she puts aside the wine before she comes to greet him. ]

[ he turns to greet her and -- holy shit that dress there is such an instant urge to cover her up. he turns his eyes to her face and smiles. ]

[ a girl has to get her ratings and sponsor gifts from somewhere, right. speaking of which, ]

I thought I ought to wear it, seeing someone was so kind as to send it to me.

That's one option. Throwing it out the airlock is another -

[ okay he didn't throw his he gave it away, but they were plush toys. if they were assless chaps he would've! ]

And offend my poor sponsors? I shan't dare. They have never sent me presents before.

[ and this is surely a compliment. Margaery was never a woman afraid to use her beauty or her charm to achieve her goals. This, evidently, is no exception to the rule. ]

Oh - happy name day -

[ she offers him a pretty cardboard box. inside there is a simple scarf in tyrell green with a simply embroidery of his initial. ]

[ he decides to give up on the argument he has no chance of winning. ]

Thank you -- [ he smiles and gives her a quick hug before opening the box with gusto. ]

It's great! Did you make it yourself? I love it! [ he puts it right on, continuing to make his outfit absurd. ] How's it look?

I did. We had some spare fabric from on of the previous star systems. I favored the color.

[ a tiny grin; it's not hard to guess why. ]

Very handsome! I do rather like it this way.

Me too, and it's perfect, I get cold easy so I can wear it a lot!
