Hey everybody, this is Sorey. I'm just checking in, seeing if everything's okay. Oh, and paperwork for new upgrades will be coming in soon, so if there's anything anybody would like to see upgraded, cast your votes now!

Oh also, we don't have any lab support personnel. I know Mikleo's been doing some stuff but if you know anybody looking to transfer who'd like the use of the lab, could you let 'em know? I'll include a call out in my public broadcast in a sec.

I'm kind of curious; so there are a lot of different kinds of forces or energies here that are a lot like the ones back on my planet, but they don't seem to behave the same way here. Like the rules are different. Is anybody else running against that?

And as an aside, if there's any potential lab personnel looking for a place, the Huntress has an unoccupied lab, for now.

Well, I don't think my world runs on any kind of forces or anything like that, so...

I mean I guess there's spirits? Kind of? I don't know much about it.

Knowing there's spirits isn't a big deal in your world?

It's more like it's not really well known? And even when there's news about it, people have a hard time believing it. I do, too. ... Did, I mean.

Also, it doesn't have as much of an impact on my world as... well, say, malevolence in yours.

Because the spirits keep to themselves? Or because nobody can see them? [It. Makes sense. They have they whole religion based on seraphim worship, but even with that a lot of people don't believe they actually exist.]

I... have no idea, honestly. Spirits weren't exactly my field of study or, uh, interest.

[Much more interested in what was going on above him and how that affected the world than the whole spiritual thing.]

But there's these people called spirit mediums? And they can channel the spirits of the dead. Or something like that.

Clay, good lord. [HOW CAN YOU NOT BE INTERESTED IN SPIRITS, YOU FOOL, KNOW YE NOTHING??????] I guess when space travel is a thing there was something more interesting that took your attention, but I feel like people talking to the dead is a big deal!

Ah, well. [He tucks some hair behind his ear, a bit of an embarrassed blush crossing his cheeks.] I guess so? It's just. There aren't exactly a lot of spirit mediums, so the knowledge that they're even out there isn't widespread.

... Also, I heard about it about the time I got really into training to go to space, so my attention was kind of elsewhere.

Well, at least you don't have to worry about it! I mean, there aren't any gigantic natural disasters occurring commonly or anything back home, right? Or things like lots of war, or political scandal... Usually stuff like that comes about when the balance of the world is in upset.

Well, I'd say we've got about as much disasters as anyone else? Same with all the other stuff.

Well, like, malev- uhhh, negative energy, it usually...changes people? [remember me deep-frying ur bf's legs, yeah] But that's not always the case here. Or if it does change people, it happens extraordinarily fast.
