Hey everybody, this is Sorey. I'm just checking in, seeing if everything's okay. Oh, and paperwork for new upgrades will be coming in soon, so if there's anything anybody would like to see upgraded, cast your votes now!

Oh also, we don't have any lab support personnel. I know Mikleo's been doing some stuff but if you know anybody looking to transfer who'd like the use of the lab, could you let 'em know? I'll include a call out in my public broadcast in a sec.

I'm kind of curious; so there are a lot of different kinds of forces or energies here that are a lot like the ones back on my planet, but they don't seem to behave the same way here. Like the rules are different. Is anybody else running against that?

And as an aside, if there's any potential lab personnel looking for a place, the Huntress has an unoccupied lab, for now.

Hmm...the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is possibly an expansion to the kitchen area. Or maybe making the place a touch more invisible-beings friendly?

It's more about malevolence than anything. I'm beginning to wonder if it's not the same thing at all, even if it looks the same.

Did you grow up somewhere warm?

Hmmm...it's possible, I suppose. I can't think of many worlds where Hellions as you've describe them really exist.

I know. So whatever it is actually out here, you still can have the same reaction to it as malevolence. But people from other worlds don't have the same reaction to it as you do.

It is interesting that they can pick up our voices. Though, I imagine that the part that broadcasts video doesn't work because it's something similar to a mirror.

Mm, perhaps we should get together to brainstorm something that suits all of us, and could be used by others who might be in the same boat.

We have enough supplies to last us a while, but we can't restock unless someone with that specialization is present. I checked the supply options and they're grayed out.

...If we don't have any viable alternatives, I could look into getting my augment changed.

[Reluctance aside, it's rare for him to even mention the augments, a sure sign that he's taking the option seriously. He, Lailah, and even Dezel can use healing artes, but they're not cure-alls.]

Was it really far- was it big? What could you grow there? Wait wait- can you actually drink stuff from coconuts? Is there really water in there?

[That's a thought he hadn't considered; that maybe people from his world just react to this same thing differently than everyone else. It makes sense, that the way malevolence 'behaves' isn't different, but the people it's affecting.]

Weren't you guys talking about being able to have a reflection though? But it was something you have to really concentrate on. I wonder if it's the same with the comms?

[A pause as he thinks about it.]

Rarely, and thankfully it's always been very diluted or a milder form of it than what Innocence's made to handle.

Dark Matter's extremely volatile. Just the slightest bit of skin contact to it can kill a regular human within seconds.

[He laughs]

Well, I don't think my world runs on any kind of forces or anything like that, so...

I mean I guess there's spirits? Kind of? I don't know much about it.

I think the kitchen is about as fancy as it can get. [He's not sure what else they can add. The forms only go up to Rank 3, for now, and he doesn't need many fancy appliances. Otherwise none of them would've been able to make snacks on the go.] Maybe the actual cook has an idea.
