I'm Aizawa, medical officer and lab support. [apparently.] If you need something ordered then ask me, because I'm locking out the consoles.
[ACTION - FIRST BREATH]
[yup he's totally locking them order consoles, though he doesn't seem keen to change anything else about the lab.]
[ACTION - STARSTRUCK]
[an unbelievably scruffy man has decided to visit, and is ambling through the halls like he's innately familiar with the place looking for his student.
he's lost.]

yoooooo
Not far behind the bot comes Ochako; her fingers are pressed together, and her gaze is focused on the ceiling rather than ahead of herself, so she doesn't notice him immediately.]

he also sticks out a hand to catch that little cleaning robot that's probably going to fall when she startles. not because he's nice, but because it's probably expensive.]
no subject
The change is immediate; her jaw drops, her eyes widen. She hesitates for a second, maybe two.
And then she shakes off anything that might have caused her to hold back and lunges forward again, throwing her arms around him, burying her face against his chest. He's not her mom and dad, he's not Deku, but he's a trusted adult, a hero, and he's safe. For her, that's more than enough.]
Sensei...!!
no subject
ah, what the hell; just this once, for extenuating circumstances. he sighs and tucks the robot under one arm, resting the other hand awkwardly atop her head.]
...alright, alright. Let's not make a scene.
no subject
[She's not. She's not really pulling away just yet, either. By coming here you have doomed yourself, Aizawa.]
It's just- it's been really hard...!
no subject
so when she still insists on clinging to him he shifts to rub her back instead, patting a little.]
...I know.
[even though he knows it's irrational, he still feels like he's failed her somehow. that helps him loosen up a little further, giving her an actual sort of half-hug.] C'mon. Let's move this to your quarters.
no subject
She steps back and wipes at her eyes and nose, trying to regain her composure. It's okay, it's okay. He's here now, and she doesn't have to deal with this alone anymore.]
Y-yeah... here-
[She reaches out to take the little cleaning bot from him, setting it on the ground and sending it off on its way. Once it gets moving she points down the opposite path.]
The rooms are this way... what ship did you end up on...?

[She figures it's not presumptuous- where else would he move to but here? Wow, though, living with a teacher. Talk about intimidating.
Doesn't mean she's not secretly kind of pleased about it.]

[Honestly, there aren't words to describe her relief. She hasn't exactly felt unsafe here - she was in more danger attending UA than she's been in here, technically - but she'll definitely feel safer with him closeby.]
...Thank you. For offering.

[She's always believed that, naturally, and has told people as much. Still, it's kind of nice to hear from somebody from home, and a teacher especially. This means maybe she can start learning properly again, instead of just training on her own.
She stops outside of a room with a nameplate on the front, showing her name written in both the standard augment-translated language as well as Japanese. Opening the door reveals a simple and mostly-clean room, full of the essentials but peppered with decor to make it hers: a kettle and some snacks on her desk with a handful of books, colourful blankets offsetting the plain sheets on the bed, little posters and novice paintings on the walls to brighten it up. On one corner of the desk is a cage where a tiny, bunny-eared fluff slug is lazily crawling around.]
Here it is! My room.
no subject
You've acquired some things. [well, that's good, anyway. being here five months, he'd be way more alarmed if her room was still completely impersonal.]
no subject
[She gives her desk chair a little nudge in his direction. She's fine with him hanging out in the door, but she's so used to him slouching and napping all over- maybe he'd like to sit down?]
no subject
Mm. I saw. What are your thoughts on that?
no subject
[If he's not going to sit she will, plopping down on the bed, her hands twisting together uneasily.]
I try not to think about it... it's creepy, not knowing who's watching or when. We don't even know where the cameras are. Actually, I don't think anyone has even seen the show, so... all we have is their word that there even is one.
no subject
Right. Since all our contact with 'the audience' happens through the filter of our kidnappers anyway.
Even with that, we should still assume we're being constantly monitored somehow, if only, [he taps his augment bump,] theough these.
no subject
And on these, too...
[She fiddles with her communicator, turning it over between her hands.]
Somebody told me once that we shouldn't talk about trying to escape here using them. But does it really matter, if they're always watching us anyway?

[She's not too sure of how that'll work or how he could teach her without anyone knowing about it, but he's a lot smarter than she is, so she trusts him to find a way. He's a pro, and she's seen him in action. Even if he doesn't have the power to miraculously get them out of here, she trusts him to keep them safe as long as he's here.]
Um... sensei? Nobody's noticed that I went missing back home, have they?
[It's basically confirmed that this place is some weird time-displaced mess, but she's never had it confirmed for her personally, so she has to check.]

Finally she scuffs a hand under her nose and offers up a weak smile.]
Well... I'm glad nobody's worried about me, then!
[Though it also means that no one is looking for her, either. They're very much on their own here.]

It'll be tough, but she can give him that much.]
Okay. I'll keep trying.
