Welcome to my one-year anniversary. [Pause as she realizes maybe she should clarify that. Not a relationship thing.] Of being with the Fleet. Feels like it should come with a badge of some kind. Who hands those out? We're in a special club now, right? Secret handshake? Extra meal portions?

Anyway, I figured it was maybe time to try something different. So... Raise your hand if you'd be interested in attending a dance class if I taught one. And by raise your hand I mean call me back. I don't have surveillance set up in all the rooms yet. [She's kidding. She's probably kidding.] If anyone is in I'll set up a room for it on the Iskaulit. [Or maybe find the secret studio the previous Natasha had.]

[Kitty is poking around some of the empty spaces on the Iskaulit, but she might pop into some of the more established establishments too while she's there.]

I'll meet you in the cargo hold. [ he supposes he should give kara a bit of space and not completely smother her.

besides, he's really happy and excited and that means he wants to kiss his girlfriend in a way that would absolutely make his best friend uncomfortable. ]

[That is one of her favorite ways to be kissed! She nods and cuts the feed only to arrive shortly thereafter, popping out of her shuttle to glance around for boyfriend.] Hey you.

Hey yourself. [ still smiling like an idiot, he wraps his arms around her and pulls her in for a very enthusiastic kiss hello. ]

[She kisses back.] Good to see you too. [Smiling at him as much she can from this very small distance.]

[ he kisses the tip of her nose in reply. ]

Any takers on those lessons yet?

A few people sounded interested. Not sure anyone would actually want to learn ballet yet, but that's okay too. I could do ballroom as long as they're beginners.

The whole thing was pretty impulsive. [Thus her not discussing it with him first. It basically went from idea to call.]

[ he doesn't mind that it wasn't discussed, he does his own things, she gets to do hers. he's happy for her, hopeful that it'll give her more of a sense of purpose than bar tending. ]

Yeah? I'll take some one-on-one lessons in that, my girlfriend's a great dancer, gotta keep up.

You're on. [Kissing him eagerly again.] That would be worth putting the room together.

[ so much eager kissing! ]

If you need any help with that - [ he's here, just saying. ]

You might get recruited. [She doesn't want to overextend him, but she'd have fun working on it with him too.]

I haven't seen you this happy in awhile. I can't even be sad that it's over another woman waking up. [Teasing. She would be happy if Kurt woke up from one of those or if a friend showed up in the fleet.]

Good, there's no room for sadness today. [ okay there's been plenty of sadness, kara's upset over sleeping through the fight, and he's pretty sure she can't be as okay as she sounds about whatever happened between her and james - he saw how those two were looking at each other, those feelings don't just disappear over 12 hours, do they? and he's missed getting to go to cisco's earth, and there are still problems.

but right now, he doesn't want to focus on any of that. he's got both his most important ladies by his side and life is good for agent schott! ]

[She nuzzles in against him. It does feel like a pretty good day. She wasn't sure she'd feel that on her anniversary here, but this place brought her Winn. And as much as she wants to leave it with Winn, she's still glad of that.]

She said she had more memories.

She does, yeah.

[ he nods, and he knows she worries about those but by now, he hopes she knows that's the first thing he'll address too. (kara didn't reply to him about his inquiry, but she didn't look awkward either, so he's taking it as yup, still no love life in sight). ]

And guess what? [ he points to himself ] No longer just the IT guy.

[She does feel strange rooting for no love life because she loves him too much to want him to be lonely anywhere, but... Her Winn.]

You have never been just anything. [With all the sincerity and love.] But what else is it?

[ and her winn he wants to stay.

he's felt like just the it guy for a long time. jim's made captain in three years. cisco works at a high end lab. hank was with the cia, and he saves the whole world with his team. and he's...he's been sitting around wasting his brain on the first job that came along because he didn't believe he could amount to anything better.

he's felt like a loser. like someone who, had they lived, she couldn't proudly take back to meet her parents. he's been so worried about going back to national city, about stagnating, going back to sitting at his little desk working on mundane problems he barely even has to think about, helping kara out when she's not working with the deo his only contribution to humanity. and now...he's always wanted to go home, but now the fear's gone from it, and he's so eager for it, eager to show her - and himself - the man he becomes. ]

You are now dating - Agent Schott, DEO. [ he really wishes he had a badge, or at least some sunglasses for effect here. ah well. next time. ]

Oh, wow. [He's obviously happy and so she's happy for him, giving him a hug, but there is some concern in those eyes. That job sounds dangerous and well, basically everyone's job she's ever known has been dangerous so it's not a shock, but he's never been in something like that and so there's a little worry. But he's here with her now, safe, so she does her best to put the proud and happy in the foreground.] That's huge, Winn.

[ as in tune as he is with her, it's hard to miss that she's not exactly jumping for joy here. and there's that fear - does she not think he can do it? he's been failing left and right in the fleet; the augments haven't been cracked and they're still stuck here. but no one's gotten that! he hugs back, feeling like he shrunk back a little bit. ]

I know. Kara said it suits me. [ he's helped them before, he can do this. ]

[She tightens her hug. She just needs a little time to process that he has a dangerous career. Everyone she's ever been with has. But she liked thinking of him as being safer.]

My hot Schott.

[ the version of agent schott he built up in his head saves the world from a desk; he has no interest in putting himself in harm's way, he's had enough of that to last a lifetime here, he just wants to help others.

that nickname earns her a smile and a kiss to the top of her head. ]

Hotter than ever. [ agent schott sounds a hell of a lot sexier than wit, the it guy, don't even pretend it doesn't. ]

I thought of that name earlier and I've been waiting for my moment to use it. [She moves in on his lips for another kiss.] I love you.

Nice choice of moment. [ he smiles. ] Love you too.

Good. I'm going to use it soooo much. [Ruffling his hair fondly and then strokes it.] I didn't realize how much you wanted to work at the DEO.

I didn't realize it either.

[ he thought of it as a possibility, but he didn't realize how badly he wanted it - or anything else that made a difference in the world - until kara told him he went for it, he got it. ]

It made you light up. [And even though it made her nervous that was good to see.] Do you know what you do with them?
