We don't have any yeast do we? I don't think we do. But maybe. I feel like we always just end up making desserts with the flowers like brownies - oh! Would you like brownies? How about brownies?

[Hooray! Off she goes to cook and bake, bouncing around the kitchen stirring this and chopping that all while trying very hard not to talk poor Allen's head off but that is proving very very difficult. Fortunately it's probably mostly easy to ignore as none of the topics are particularly weighty.

The brownies are ready first so:]

[Allen honestly does try to listen, he does. But he's just so tired that it feels like so much work. He keeps zoning out, and then having to shake himself out of it- throwing in a quick "uh huh", to make it sound like he's listening.

But as usual, food makes him perk up. It's much more muted this time, but it's still there]
