Sokka don't touch tha- oh no: A Blue Fish Mingle
Who: Blue Fish Crew and any visitors!
Broadcast: If you want!
Action: SS Blue Fish!
When: February Drift Week, maybe the rest of Feb too?? Who knows.
[Hey Blue Fish Crew! The fleet is on the move again, so it's time for another mingle!
It be noted that Sokka activated a device that might cause glitches among the crew. So uh. Sorry about that. But at least once upgrades go through, we'll have a deep fryer?! Yay!
Get in, it's a mingle!]

But instead of answers, they got their glitch so oops.
Sokka has been struck again with a good sharp dose of hyperactivity. Sokka tends towards this on the best of times any regular day, but now he doesn't sleep. Ever. He can be found tinkering with various items on the ship- a manic grin on his face. The creations that come from this mess are left strewn about the ship as he finishes them and quickly moves onto something else. Try not to pick any of them up- who knows what they do?
When he's not tinkering, he can be found wandering restlessly around the bridge - not keeping still for a second. One minute he's pacing, the next he's sitting in the chair, spinning round and round, and after that, he's checking all the windows and control panels. Please make him stop. ]

Oy. Keep it down.

What are you talking about? I'm being super quiet. I'm just bored. Can't we do something, Allen? Come on, Allen, let's do something.

(you see, she realized captain sokka has been bouncing around up there for some time now -- and she's keen to put an end to his pacing, if she can. ]
Won't you sit with me for a moment? [ she asks as she enters by a side-door. her smile is utterly genuine and puts dimples in her cheeks. ] I made too much tea, [ she lies, but with no effort to pretend it's the truth, ] and I fear I need someone to help me finish the pot.

The idea of sitting for anything longer than a nanosecond isn't appealing at all, but spirits help him, he will try for her. He moves to sit down, trying of focus on her, but occasionally looking around the room with darting expressions, as if he were following a fly. ]
Uh. Sure yeah. I can sit. How are you? You look good. Happy good. It's nice.

Allen Walker | OTA
[About a day or so after Sokka activated that device, Allen woke up feeling...incredibly tired and lazy. Even though usually he's one of the first ones up on the ship, today he stays in bed until it was nearly noon. He probably would've slept the day away, had it not been for his hunger acting up.
So eventually, he drags himself into the kitchen, looking...way more unkempt than he ever does. His hair is down instead of it's carefully pinned ponytail, he's wearing only pajama pants so his scars and tattoos are fully visible, and he has an air of just being completely lethargic.
When he gets into the kitchen, he opens the fridge for a few moments, as if trying to weigh his options as to what to eat. But, all of it looks like it requires cooking and that seems like a pain. So instead, he opts to grab one of their big serving bowls and just fill it full of proteins of assorted flavors. Doesn't even heat it or anything, just grabs and spoon and sits down at the table to eat it like its a total chore.
Yeesh.]
[B. Growth Spurt; forward dated to when the Upgrades take effect]
[A few days later, Allen's thankfully returned to normal. And even better, the upgrade that finally allows him to age finally went through, so now he's looking closer to 17 than 16. Sure. He still have many upgrades to go before he looks his real age, but this is a good start. And he is in very good spirits about it.
Well, except for one little problem.
You might find him tugging on his sleeve or his pantleg, trying very hard to make them go down. In fact, all his clothes seem kinda too small on him now, like an inch or two too small]
Nngh, come on.
[That's right. He forgot that when you age? You grow. And he didn't buy any clothes to prepare for this. Good job Allen]
[C. Wildcard!]
[Got another prompt? Hit me up! ]
B: because we will have ALL THE THREADS
Something's different. Did you get new pants?
[He's either being sarcastic or he honestly can't tell. It's fifty fifty at this point. ]
B - ALL THE THREADS!!
No. Why would I buy pants too short for me?

Allen are you feeling all right? I didn't see you this morning and I was worried you were sick but I didn't want to bother you because you probably needed some rest after all your hard work getting the ship back together so I went to the garden and figured you'd be awake by the time I came back and here you are but you don't look so good.
[She puts a hand to his forehead.]
You don't feel hot, so that's good. Do you want me to make you soup? I could make you soup. Or tea. Or coffee! Yes, coffee - I should make a pot of coffee!
[No you definitely should not.]

'm fine. Just tired.
[Though the idea of someone making food for him....]

Eithan Paine | ota
[ Eithan's usually pretty damn great at being at the very least content - or, well, pretending to be, if it comes down to it. Today? Not so much. For whatever reason, he can't seem to let go of this overhanging feeling of sadness...
Which, of course, sadness can lead to introspection, which might not be such a good idea if you can't get yourself to be anything but more sad, so down and down he spirals... That's when guilt shows up. Guilt for things he hasn't thought about in a damn long time - which, yeah, makes him feel even more guilty for not thinking about it--
-- ugh. Ugh. He hates feeling like this. So he's trying to take his mind off of it!
You'll find him hanging out in the cargo area, sitting somewhere out of the way, idly flipping a poker chip between his fingers. He's not smiling - not even a little bit. No air of contentment, none of his typical warm friendliness. And that's pretty damn unusual for him. His guitar is propped up against the wall nearby, but he isn't playing anything right now - that'd be too angsty, right? ... Sigh. ]
2 ☼ anyone want a smoothie?
[ WELL THAT WAS FUN, GLAD THAT DEPRESSIVE SPELL IS OVER. But man, everyone kinda got their asses handed to them by something or other, didn't they? What the hell was that all about...? Well, whatever it is, they need a break. And Eithan's decided to do what he always did for himself and his sister whenever they were feeling particularly down.
He's got some fruit. He's got some ice. Hell, he's even got some alcohol if anyone requests it! But the point is, he's in the kitchen, putting the blender to work.
Come have a smoothie and hang out. ]

Ah, it's fruit, juice, and ice. If it's got a name, I don't really know it. [ Learned it from a friend a long time ago - names escape him, okay. ] Just somethin' I used to make for my sister.

after the shuffle
[Belthazar appears quite suddenly, having not actually expected to leave his ship since... he'd been on the same ship for his several years of being here. But lo and behold, here he is, and his hands are covered in sticky bread dough.]
W-what in the name of --
[Is this the Blue Fish? It's the Blue Fish. He's been a common sight here before since he cooked for Allen and Sokka regularly, yet...]
Ah! My things! My room! I'll have to re-enchant the kitchen all over again! And reorganize my book collection, and replace the hangings on my wall, and--
[He looks down at his hands.]
... It seems I've lost my bread in transit.
[B. kitchen nightmares]
[Once he's washed his hands and properly organized his room, the tiny elf is back in the kitchen. The cupboard doors are all open and the counters are covered in various tools and implements. And he's... waving his fingers at them to some effect. Each time he weaves an enchantment, a small glyph appears beneath the item, and he's able to lift it up and set it back into its rightful place.
If it was disorganized before, it's going to be neat with him around.]

Riona Cousland | OTA
If one wanders near the kitchen, they may see little Kiter wagging his stump of a tail as someone softly sings inside. Riona's sudden burst of happiness seems to have made her much less self-conscious than normal, so she's actually singing where others can hear, something she almost never does. A fellow Thedosian may recognize some of the songs, The Soldier and the Seawolf and Andraste's Mabari being amongst them. Of course, she thinks she's alone, save for her mabari, who occasionally howls along where (in)appropriate.
Eventually, though, she does turn around from what she's doing and almost jumps a bit in surprise when she realizes she's not alone.]
Oh, Maker! I'm sorry! I didn't hear anyone come in.
