I might not have woken up at all if it hadn't been for the yellow sun too. It helped me heal.

That is freakishly fortunate. Does your home world have a yellow sun, too, then?

Red. Our cells absorb yellow sun radiation though.

Huh. So...does your red sun do anything to you? Or is it just the yellow sun thing?

This is just a yellow sun thing. I mean, red was normal for our planet doing normal sun things like lighting it up.

That's...rather interesting. That your species would get those abilities with a sun you wouldn't even morally get in contact with.

If I were a scientist I could probably explain why, but I'm just a guy who needs a lot of alcohol to get drunk and can punch through walls.

Usually being entertaining. Sad, happy, raunchy- whatever you like, really. So long as you think someone would enjoy watching you, it would do the job.

People like watching sad people? That is the new strangest human thing I've heard of.

Oh yes. There's a whole industry built on humans observing other humans having emotions, and in turn feeling emotions themselves.

Do they have a hard time feeling emotions on their own?

[onlyanapple]

Sometimes. But other times they can have too many emotions to deal with at once. They're very complicated little things. Often quite contradictory of themselves.

[Mon-El isn't really different from that. He's just surprised anyone would want to wallow in sadness. Daxam was definitely built as a party world, so sometimes the nuance of non-fun things was diminished or otherwise put down.]
