[Sokka keeps tabs on his crew a lot, but there's a few scant people outside of the Blue Fish he absolutely tried to check up on as and when he can. After the...weird hyperactivity effects he'd experienced wore off, he made to check up on exactly one of those people. And his search came up empty.

So, he turns on the video, stepping out of one of the shuttles and heading through the hallways of the Blue Fish, heading to the bridge]

I'm not sure who she knew all that much, so I'm making this public in case anyone's missed it and gets worried about her.

[He flops down into his captain's chair with a heavy sigh. This sucks.]

Korra's gone. Home, hopefully. Which is probably a better thing for her. Important Avatar business and all that.

It really is! I'm used to seeing people come and go - one of my professors was here, but as a teenager rather than the man I knew - and even that wasn't as weird. I'm not entirely sure I'm coming across as sane when I talk to her.

Seriously. And it's like what do you talk about? What if you say something hat disrupts some timestream somewhere, or upsets them? It's like a mine field of weirdness.

I'm a little worried I might say something that would stop my best friend from even existing. I'm not sure if people remember things from here when they go home but... Is it worth that sort of risk?

Exactly! You just don't want to run that risk- messing with time is never. ever a good idea, I'd say.

I've done enough fiddling around in time to know that it's a really bad idea. I'm glad someone understands.

I've not done it myself, but scientifically speaking, it's just asking for trouble. One little misstep could alter the whole course of history.

The first time I did it was for school, so... I'm not sure I'm allowed to comment.

They... give time-travel lessons in your school?

No, I... Was given special permission by the headmaster.

To time travel? That's uh...that's some permission, there.

I was only doing it so that I could attend more classes!

...Okay, I'm torn between it being a misuse of time travel and also being impressed because it means you crammed in more learning.

No okay, that's a much better use of it. It didn't mess up the timelines at all?

Well, see, that's the problem, isn't it? What if the correct timeline was the one where I changed it? And the wrong one would be where I didn't?

...

That's...actually kind of genius. Because, yeah, sure! Maybe the event triggering the correct timeline was you going in there and changing it.

Which is why time travel is such a dangerous thing, right? There's always the chance you think you're changing the right thing but, instead, you're doing the wrong thing and everything has ended up... Wrong. That's why the Ministry keeps the devices to themselves.

Even a tyrant could be saving their people from their perspective. Everyone has their own view point of what they're doing and all that.

[He's learned THAT much from the rebuilding for the Fire Nation now it's stuck in peace. ]

At least it's not out there for anyone to use. Though, man, I hope this 'ministry' don't use it =, either.

Um, well, the Time Turners did get damaged in a battle and they're not usable now, so...

[ Not that SHE had ANYTHING to do with that. ]

Unless someone invents another way? Which probably wouldn't be a good idea, if it fell into the wrong hands...

Yeaaaah, it's probably a good thing that the universe is left to run its own course now.

I'm sure someone would make the argument that it's what the universe wants.

Of course they would.

I'm not sure I can give the universe that kind of the benefit of the doubt.
