[The video function turns on to the hesitantly smiling face of a young woman. Blue hair and pointed ears mark her as somewhat different— or they would if this wasn’t a space fleet carrying residents from all over the multi-verse. She waves at the camera, a slight tilt of her head the only immediate indication of any puzzlement, but concern is detectable.]

Ah… hi there. I’ve gone through the information on the computers— or at least what looks like the basics, so I’m trying this now. [She stops, backtracking somewhat.] Obviously I’m new, I think. I just woke up an hour or so ago. I’m still trying to process this, if it’s not a really weird in-game event.

[Her expression sobers for a brief moment before she continues.] Because this isn’t what I normally look like, not really. So…

[And here she catches herself.] Oh, sorry! My name’s Asuna. If anyone has clarification, I’d love to hear it. Thank you.

[Nightingale has to watch that video for a moment. Because she knows the name, and the game talk makes it pretty obvious who this girl is, but Kirito never mentioned that she was an elf. Not what she normally looks like, though, means it's possible? Nothing for it but to ask, then.]

[There aren't enough exclamation points to fully convey how surprised Kirito is right now. He knows her voice immediately - how could he not, even if it has been far too many months, even if he's not used to seeing the Undine avatar in graphics as vivid as reality - but to hear her introduction, to have it really confirmed... and for her to be here...]

Oh, Kirito-kun! [She's surprised to see him, too, but not nearly as much. For her, it hasn't even been a full two days. Until she finds out otherwise, it's just a nice little meeting. Sorta.]

Are you on another ship right now?

Though supposedly arrival is one of the few times people get a chance to look around that ship, or however much is accessible anyway. If you're into sleuthing it's probably worth writing down your observations.

After all, it's not everyday you see a young girl with that bright of blue hair and eyes sporting some pointy ears to boot. But also, something about the girl's choice of words piques Wanda's interest.]

If you've been reviewing the computers and communicator logs, you already have a bit of a head-start on most who arrive here.

If you don't mind my asking, what did you mean by "in-game event," and "this isn't how you normally look?"

[He had shown her an "avatar" of his that was similarly elf-eared, hadn't he? It'd been a while since back then, but Wanda's fairly certain she recalls this.]

Stefan usually doesn't reply to newcomer broadcasts, given that he's usually buried in a book or three, but the minute he hears her name, he switches the video feed on. Y'Allah, she even looks like the young woman in the photos Kirito had shown him...]
