The first week of this month however shows a complete 180 for him, energy-wise. Remember that couch the Paisley put in one of the common areas for movie nights? Yeah, he's set up shop there. He's been flopped on it and stretched out for hours on end, a sheet draped over the back and side like the world's laziest blanket fort. He's not even doing anything. Just lying there with his headphones on, listening to music and gazing blearily at the ceiling. Hasn't moved all day.
Ugh, what a drag everything is right now. He doesn't even want to get up to eat. Why can't the kitchen come to him?]

But when he realizes who's just lying there, he can't help wandering over.]
Everything okay?
no subject
...Are you asking me?
no subject
[He even kneels, just to peer underneath and give off the impression that he's indeed befriended the little guys, before shaking his head at his bro.]
Of course I'm asking you. You've been kind of... there.
no subject
[He half rolls over, so he's at least facing Stefan, eyes narrowed conspiratorily, voice hushed.]
Do you want access to the fort, captain?

[Freyja's in a relatively good mood. Which is normal, that's just how she is, and thanks to the energy boost from the augment she's been bouncing off the walls nonstop which means anything from her following people around, to singing loudly, to popping up in the middle of whatever important thing someone is doing, to just literally never sitting still even if it means accidentally making a mess of something.
For someone that's already normally a ball of energy, it's only gotten worse with the glitch.]
B. when augments aren't glitching
[Early in the month, when she's not being obnoxiously energetic, she's just plain old energetic. And while it's not actually unusual to hear her singing around the ship, it's usually not accompanied by all of the thuds.]
Let's go, let's break through to the dawn we dreamed oOOOOFFFF—!
[And as if on cue, there's a Freyja rolling out of her office.]
C. wildcard!?
[It can be anything from catching her singing and dancing to playing games to just needing to talk about whatever!! She is here for all Paisley needs no matter what.]
A!
Wait, is that someone else singing...?]
no subject
Well.
Someone is.
And she's spinning out in front of Kirito, clearly not watching where she's going.]

it sounds like something Suguha would listen to
Sleepily he lifts his head, squinting at the object heading straight for him. Quite literally straight for him.
He's not moving out of the way - who has the energy for that? - so collision time, apparently.]

Gradually, though, she began to come out of her shell a little bit. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen, especially after it upgraded, experimenting with combining the various flavors of protein. She found she was surprisingly good at it, considering that back home she could cook an okay hamburger and do other basic things, but nothing more.
And then, of course, came the manic bursts of energy when her augment glitched. She took special care of the bar stools in the kitchen when cleaning, because they reminded her of home.]
no subject
Just watching you is making me more tired.
[Where is she getting that energy?]
no subject
Sorry. Normally I'm not nearly this energetic, especially not about... [She looked down at the cloth in her hand.] ... cleaning, of all things. Are you okay? You look exhausted.
no subject
[Exhausted, that is. He has no excuse, he's slept like twelve hours today already.]
Maybe there's something in the air today.

[Every now and then, a mysterious package awaits the crew in the cargo bay. Stefan's learned to dread them with every being of his soul: first, there were the "Share a Soda" t-shirts, then there were the fruit-scented hair gel, and now there's - freedom-scented candles? All labeled with a big, giant American flag and a crying eagle??
Stefan squints, wondering how on Earth this applies to him. He doesn't even live in America anymore, and then he realizes: "Freedom" wasn't the only scent packaged in. There's "Chai Latte" (an actual abomination), "Moonlight," "Kraken Dreams," (what's a Kraken??), "Mana Potion," "Love Potion," "The Burger Shack," and "The Written Word," along with countless others neatly and carefully packaged. They've even helpfully included mini-lighters to get the party started.
If you weren't lucky enough to catch him unboxing this monstrosity, he'll send a ship-wide text message later:]
Unless anyone adores candles, I suggest we throw this recent sponsor drop out the airlock.
b) closed to Misty
[Right on cue, the all-too familiar shuffle jingle plays over the Paisley's loudspeakers, and Stefan immediately knows what that means. He ditches whatever he's doing and rushes towards the bridge. Best to announce his presence to whoever's joining them, given how he didn't do it for Tina or Freyja and - and it's exactly who he thought it would be.
He's gonna hold his arms out wide and try to spin her around, just because he can.]
Misty! [Ah, he's so pleased that even the edges of his eyes crinkle when he smiles.] Welcome home!
no subject
Laughing as Stefan twirls her around the bridge, she wraps her arms tightly around him.]
What a welcome!
no subject
[He doesn't let go, even as he stops twirling long enough to rest his forehead against hers. He doesn't want to let go. Part of him still can't believe she's actually moving in. Now they'll just be down the hall, as opposed to entirely different ships.]
But uh, - we should get you all settled in, huh?
no subject
Yeah. [Opening her eyes, she smiles.] Guess we should.
no subject
I could still give you the grand tour, but picking out a room seems way more important.

We could probably melt down the wax and use it for something else? I wouldn't want to use this as-is.
