[ it's probably unfortunate that the network is left open and broadcasting, because tadashi awakes with a jolt and a gasp and sits up fast in his bunk on the marsiva. he isn't sure where he is, but he knows this wasn't where he was, and it's clear there's some mental scrambling going on as he desperately tries to slot in place the very few pieces of the puzzle he has. ]

[ and until the shuffle, tadashi will be found... pretty much investigating everything he can about the marsiva. he might not have an engineer augment, but he still finds it all pretty ridiculously fascinating. if he's not too absorbed into whatever he's doing, he's equally likely to flag any friendly-looking faces down.

No, once you get assigned a ship you're free to shuttle back and forth or hook the ships together however you like. It's just when you first arrive that you get the endless waiting.

But don't worry -- I'm sure even if you don't get assigned to the same ship as Hiro, I have a feeling you'll get manhandled into transferring over there anyways. You can put in an application for a permanent transfer at any time.

Modifications. But the ships aren't all that great to begin with, so you could say it's a little bit of both.

I'm just glad he finally has something legal to keep him busy.
