Who: Solas and everyone!
Broadcast: Fleet-wide
Action: On board the Marsiva
When: 11th-14th!
[ It's a good thing the network is already on when Solas is awake, mostly because the first thing he does is promptly fall out of the bed. There's a long moment of silence before there comes a long suffering sigh and a spot of movement, the blackness moving to reveal a voice, quiet and measured as he looks around. ]
... Ah.
[ He frowns, his eyes narrowing a little before he continues, as if he's taking in everything before he even considers making a movement. ]
Well, this is certainly different.
( action )
[ Until he's assigned, Solas can be found in the room he woke up in, loathe to go too far. He's very quiet and keeps to himself, especially if people mention anyone that might be from 'his world'; for the most part he seems particularly solitary. He does ask, once or twice, if anyone has any idea about painting, or something called the 'Fade', but generally he appears to be rather a loner.
At least it's obvious that, if spoken to, he will be particularly polite and generally quite cheerful, for the most part. ]

It's an epic struggle, but she wins, manages to just give him a very relieved looking smile. This is certainly a face she's missed.]
Are you alright? That looked painful.

I'm quite fine, thank you. [ His nose wrinkles a little; he's not alright. He has been kidnapped and he was busy. ] I wasn't expecting to be in a bed.
no subject
Well we all have to sleep sometimes, Solas, even you.

I don't recall mentioning my name, da'len.

Perhaps Atroma really does like elves a little too much.
[A little derisive? Possibly. ]
video
She would be the first, I think.
[ It's said pleasantly enough, really, given the situation. ]

Video;
I suppose I can offer condolences.
video;
[ He is aching, but he does try to soften and be pleasant. Especially with such a... Unique stranger. ]
video;
[Even those that annoyed him, he would still lay down his life for, but he doesn't care to explain that about himself.]

At this rate, we'll have the whole Inquisition here.
video
Perhaps together we might be able to survive this place, then, Commander.

[Sorry, he saw an opportunity to joke and had to take it--tell Varric about it, later.]
Welcome to space, Solas.

You'll be saying that for a while, stranger. Welcome to the Fleet.

[ Even if he does sound a little petulant still. ]

[he does not sound like he minds the vaguely petulant tone in the least!]

Mm, different might be an understatement. This place is quite unique. [and, she pauses before asking]
Are you alright?
video
[ His smile is a little softer, now. Human she might be (by all appearances) but that doesn't mean she deserves all his frustration thrown at her in one rather giant leap. ]
I'm well, thank you, simply a little confused.

I've been here for a few months, so I can cover most of the basics.

Ah, Solas, you've made it. Just in time.
video
I feel as though I ought to be surprised that you are here, but I find myself expecting it, Dorian.
video
[Which is really anywhere outside of Tevinter.]
I do hope you'll join us once you're capable of making your way to Mor.
[Because he needs someone else to lecture him and tell him how wrong his magic is, he thinks, bitterly, but the smile and pleasant tone don't leave him.]
