can a fairy fly underwater??
Who: A well-balanced party- AKA Kirito, Asuna, Nightingale, Opal, Jayden, and Nami
Broadcast: N/A
Action: One of the underwater ruins
When: During this month!
[At some point after getting Nightingale to stop screaming, a proper party is assembled! They've got everything: tanks, mages, DPS, puzzle-solvers! This whole dungeon crawl should be a cinch, right? It's not like any of them have a tendency to attract bad luck or sudden disaster.
H e h. Good luck, nerds.]

Oh, hold on, let me try something! [She crouches, like she's going to jump, when a pair of blue wings appears behind her as she leaps. It looks like they actually work to propel her to the ceiling of the room-- or close enough.
It just so happen to be perfectly timed when Jayden shoves a statue to one of the tiles, causing it to dim and another, farther away, to start glowing. Her eyes widen, and she calls down.]
Hey, something changed! A different tile started to shine.
[She allows her wings to vanish, and she gently floats back down to the floor, looking at the others.] I'm not sure it's something I can figure out, but I can take someone else up with me to get another quick look.

[She gives Jayden an apologetic look, because that sounds like a pain in the ass, but... it's worth it to see if the two tiles that dimmed/glowed reverse themselves with the second application.]

She pushes it off the glowing tile, watches as the tile begins to glow again. (and, not that she can see it, but the one that lit up goes dim again) And once she moves it back onto the tile, it does the same thing all over again. ]
Well, that answers that. [ Beat. ] Think we're supposed to make a pattern? And if we are, then... what is it?

We can always try to brute force it, but that would leave Jayden low on stamina once we got it... Usually, in these kinds of puzzles, there's a riddle or hint around.
[She kneels down, inspecting the ground around the statues.]
Check the floors. If nothing else, there might be scratches and scrape marks along the ground from where previous parties who solved the puzzle pushed the statues.

[She's already looking around at the room's ceiling, or at least, as much as she can in the darkened water surrounding them.]

She crouches down, already running her hands along a set of grooves without quite touching. She's too paranoid for that.]

[She stands up again, shaking her hands off in the water, and looking at Asuna.]
Do I need to do anything, or...?

Whenever you're ready.

Ready.
