[Finrod is suddenly glad that he's spent very little money up to this point. His first purchases are a sword and armor and, typical Noldor that he is, he spends a great deal of time fussing over the details and speaking to the smith about metalwork.
But that's not all he looks at. Over the course of their visit, he will probably pick up a few pairs of nice clothes and glance through the herbs and medicine.]
