Broadcast: If you want!
Action: All of it!
When: Second half of the month.
[hey everyone! how's it been going? how's medieval-fun-time-world treating you? anyone pillaged and burned anything yet? got kicked out of the castle? been planning expeditions? registered for jousting? busy angsting for the last two weeks on your ship?
this is a mingle for everybody, whether they're hiding in the volcano, out and about in the city, or up on one of those random random stations where you can get quirky souvenirs.]

He breezes over with a smile]
Ah, there you are. I thought I was never going to find where you'd holed yourself up. There are an inordinate number of taverns in this town...

And yet you found me. Good job.

[He gestures a bartender over. ]
What's your poison today?

[He doesn't sit down, though, and instead leans against the wall]
I thought I might ask you if you'd like to catch a play. I haven't done that with anyone in years.
[Not since the Empyrean in Mélusine, though he doubts the standards will be all that high]

[That gets a raised eyebrow, followed rather swiftly by a smirk, the bartender ignored the time being. ]
Are you asking me out on a date?
no subject
[He smiles though, not entirely denying the charge either. It didn't make much of a difference to him.]
no subject
[That was aimed at the bartender, as Crowley stands. ]
Sure, why not. Haven't had a decent heckle in a while.

I had an inkling you'd be good at it. Personally I used to stick to dissecting the performances from the safety of my balcony, but I doubt the state of theater is advanced enough for that.

[Hey, here comes wine, hooray. Crowley pays the guy, and turns to look at Felix, offering a bottle. ]
Shall we, then?
no subject
Certainly...
[He turns away from the wall and leads Crowley out the door and in the vague direction of the festival grounds.]
So I have been meaning to ask since we landed...I've been led to understand this entire charade is suppose to historically accurate. How would you say it compares to that claim?

It's pretty close, to be honest. They got the smell right and everything. Of course, the whole hidden technology part kind of ruins it.

[There's no magical mind control and that means they have no excuse]

[He raises his wine bottle]
And considering our time here it limited, I intend to devote that time to enjoying this dirty little rock.
no subject
[He flashes a grin. ]
Well, I'm glad someone here has some sense.

[It's pretty much one of the cornerstones of their relationship at this point. The festival grounds come into sight a moment later, and and remembers where he'd been going with that initial question]
Actually, what I'd really been wondering was whether you any saw any of the original Shakespeare productions.
no subject
[It's how they roll, and Crowley would be lying if he said he didn't miss it. ]
Certainly. Saw some of the really early stuff, when he was hashing it out as a young up-and-coming.

They seem to forget he was a filthy little fucker, who wrote as much as what we'd consider 'porn' these days as he did actual plays.

Like that one where the dude bakes a woman's sons into a pie and then gets her to eat them.
