Fudged as in might have omitted or slightly changed facts because I didn't want to get in trouble for doing what I thought was the right thing.

Im slowly working on Spock matching his reports to mine so he doesn't unfudge my fudging.

Nah, he's Vulcan. He doesn't see the point in lying. It's not a concept they grasp - lying is illogical you see.

Arguing the logic of it is the hard part.

I don't know about that. Lying can be incredibly logical. It all depends what you're lying about.

Heh, that would be an arguement I'd love to here.

But for them it doesn't make sense. In their society there aren't reasons to lie.

The future and an alien world, and I still have a hard time imagining it.

Heh, well, they're a unique sort. They eschew emotion entirely, you see. Logic is, in a way, their god. Quite different from humans, which I think made them one of the best options for First Contact.

[Natasha decides not to question that too much. It doesn't exactly match her understanding of logic, but... aliens. In the future.]
