[Kurt actually snorts.] Bit of advice, flexing works better on someone who isn't accustomed to their team-mates being ungodly muscular.

[He flashes a grin, impish and warm, to ease the sting of his words. And then laughter when Kirk informs him of the shirts' ultimate fate.] Of course they would be. You know, I've had more than a few people think my tail is a fashion accessory. Some of them wouldn't believe it wasn't until they felt my pulse through it.

Kurt takes his own drink in hand and waits until Kirk's done sipping at his extraordinarily blue drink before pointing out:] You've never asked.

_{[ He paused, considering that, and realized he hadn't. Not that he had ever reached out to take Kurt's tail without asking before, but he had definitely thought about touching it. He liked tails, okay? He sipped his drink and looked at Kurt, mouth curling just at the corners. ]}

Then if I asked to play with your tail as my tip for singing, would you let me?

[Kurt's answer is to reach said tail toward one of Kirk's wrists, with intent of curling the arrowhead tip and a little of the length around it. His expression is carefully neutral, right until he asks;]

There's nothing at all unusual about this for you, is there?

Unusual? No, not really. I quite like tails, actually, and I find you fascinating besides. So no I wouldn't call this unusual at all.

What a world you come from.

[If he sounds quietly amazed, that's only because he is. Kurt's tail curls around the offered hand, warm to the touch and smooth-skinned. True to his word, his heartbeat can be felt through the skin; a little quicker than normal. He's quiet for a moment, watching the spade curl and flatten as though it doesn't belong to him.]

I'm the only one like me, in mine. There's other mutants who look strange, of course, but none so handsome a devil.

He glanced up to him and smirked just a little with a spark in those blue eyes when he felt the way quickness, though if he was honest he wasn't sure if that was normal for Kurt or not. ]}
