[As promised, the store is not too far away, though when they first enter, there are a few surprised looks from both the workers and the other shoppers: clearly they are used to ah...a younger crowd. Beverly seems to pay them no mind, however, as she starts rifling through a rack of leather jackets.]

[ Charles shuffles through the racks, not sure what to pick. He scans a few surface thoughts of the patrons to get a better idea, but what they had pictured seemed a bit too extreme for him. ]

I assume if I don't wear black leather, I'll be admitting a major faux-pas.

[She pulls out a jacket and holds it out for him to see.]

These are a lot of pockets for one jacket.

[ But he turns it over before shrugging. ]

But it seems fine for a rock concert.

[She wiggles the jacket at him.]

[ Charles takes it politely, slipping it on. It feels tight, not like the usual loose sweaters or cardigans he wears. ]

It fits, though I suspect I'll change my mind later on that.

We could try a different size? I admit I was just estimating it.

I'll get one size larger.

Though, what else should we be getting? Is it only jackets?

We coooould get you a pair of leather pants, if you wanted to go all out?

Why not? There's no point in doing this half way.

[This was the answer she was hoping for but she didn't want to push him too far past his comfort zone.]

Why don't you continue looking around then and I'll look in the women's section and then we can surprise each other with what we've picked out?

[ He wheels his chair towards the pants section. ]

[As for Beverly, she disappears into the women's section for the next half hour or so, emerging soon after with a completely new look.]
