It was hard not to.

It's a weird situation.

Meanwhile the waiter comes by with their food, putting it in front of them. ]
I'd imagine so...
I don't suppose Zaveid's mentioned what happened to her, did he?
[-- He's willing to bet he didn't. Because it's Zaveid. Of course he didn't.]
no subject
[It seems extra shitty when the woman in question is here and alive right in front of them. Awkward enough with him, Dezel, and Eizen being the walking dead. Why add to their number?]
no subject
[He gives a little sigh as he bites into his food, thinking at the same time. It would be handy to know if she has a history of losing control, but he's not about to push. He can work without it.]
Well, for now, she seems to have her human mind intact. But I'm a little worried about how long she'll be able to keep that up, especially without the large supply of malevolence to feed on like she's used to.
[Which honestly, just the thought of her cannibalizing other daemons is screwed up and fills him with a lot of negative thoughts and memories. It's a huge reason he's not eating like a speed demon right now, and more just as a normal human speed]
I think I'll talk to Sam Winchester. I don't always agree with the Winchester brothers' methods, but Sam knows a lot more than I do about unconventional tricks. He might have some ideas about how to keep everyone safe.
no subject
To tell you the truth, I don't think she's a regular sort of hellion- they don't feed on malevolence, and they don't eat other hellions, either.
[They really should be going to Zaveid and Eizen to learn more about it, but they don't even seem worried. It feels a lot less safe to just go "it'll probably be fine!" after what happened with Sorey.]
no subject
[And something that shouldn't exist at all. But hell, you could say that for any type of demon]
But mm, you're right. I don't see her accepting such an offer either. And with the level of malevolence she has, I'm not sure I want to try it myself either. [Since at that level it tends to backfire. Hard.]
no subject
[--ah.
Siegfried.]
no subject
Right. Siegfried. That thing.
...]
Well....most of her malevolence seems to be concentrated in her arm. So in a worse case scenario, I could try chopping it off.
no subject
Please let us try purifying her first, if it comes to that.
no subject
Okay I lied the last resort is actually beheading. Amputation is second to last resort. Allen's just not dumb enough to voice that one.]
Only if you're sure you can do it safely.
And no gun either. She can consume Seraph as well, so it could backfire and just act as a giant food dispenser for her.
no subject
[He's gotten the hungry eye from enough of them to see the difference. Velvet hadn't done that, which had made her more of a puzzle, in truth.]
Regardless, I doubt it'll go that way. It was hard enough to convince Sorey to use it the first time.
no subject
No, but trapping their souls and using their power is unique to her. I saw her myself. It's different from just mauling people. She's a stone throw away from being an Akuma.
[Which honestly, is a huge reason why he's invested in this case. That malak, she may be want to be there for whatever reason it may be, but the fact Velvet could do that at all made him too wary not to be invested. He remembers all too well what happened to the Third Exorcists]
No Siegfried on her, period. Even if you manage to convinced Sorey again. I'm not going to risk making Akuma, even if the risk is small.
no subject
[A trapped soul inside Velvet? That's new.]
no subject
There's a Serap- Malak soul, in her arm. A woman with red hair- so maybe fire?
Velvet uses her for power, but she seems to want to be there.
no subject
[This sounds a lot different from tethering. Maybe he needs to ask Zaveid about this one.]
no subject
I have a curse that lets me see trapped souls. In other words, a soul that's being held somewhere it shouldn't be. And not only can I see them, but I can hear their words. That's how I know.
no subject
I see... your eye. I remember you were able to sense it, but I didn't realize it was that detailed.
[No wonder he hadn't liked being around Greed, if there'd been so many of them.]
I wonder if it's more similar to a tethering situation than how hellions usually are. When hellions consume living beings they don't just keep existing within the hellion. Purifying or even killing them doesn't bring the person back.
no subject
[He says almost proudly of his curse. What he likes having it, okay. ]
It's possible. It could be that she less cannibalises others and more...absorbs them....somehow? [He shrugs as he takes another bite of food] I'm not sure, really. I just know what I saw.
no subject
[If there's one thing that weapon doesn't do, it's bind anything together. It sort of defeats the whole purpose of its existence.]
I will promise that we won't rush into anything. None of us are inclined to sacrifice ourselves lightly when there are other options, and other people who can help- that isn't something we had back home.
