[ he will have to take a look around a little later, see what differences the merge brought about for the ship. it's not really something in the forefront of his mind right now, however. between the smell of actually good food, and this awkward situation he currently finds himself in... well the strange merged ship deserves more of his attention than he can currently give it.

fitz approaches hunter as he looks around the kitchen. honestly, that's mostly so he doesn't stare at his new acquaintance in an attempt to figure out how they might end up as friends in the future. yes, he's gotten details here and there but it's just... odd.

he leans in to first smell the soup (it smells really good) and then tentatively takes a taste of it. and then his eyes go a little wide with mild surprise ]

it's funny. all the talking they did about shield and the like over the devices when hunter first got there, suddenly he feels like he has to work up to it now that he's actually face to face with the man ]

Dull. And - full of weirdos. There was a girl with the pinkest hair I've ever seen and an expression that's something straight out of a horror movie - a fella in full armor and I don't mean SHIELD standard issue - he's around here somewhere if you want a look - he was looking for ladders to get out of a spaceship, so I wouldn't get to attached - a suspiciously nervous kid rambling on about things that would seem crazy before I joined up and well - ended up in space - and another strange girl. It was a looong week, speaking of, don't think I've forgotten that beer you promised me.
