[...what a question. She is hungry, but the brief interest in her expression flickers and dies at the follow up, and she looks down. Oh look, she's still hovering in mid-air. So she looks back up just as quickly.]

[Kitty leads her the short distance back to solid ground, noticing the way only one question gets an answer.] We can probably find something better than the usual fare. I might still have some seed butter.

[It's a complicated answer, and she doesn't want Kitty to think badly of her. She wobbles a bit when she hits the ground, both disappointed and relieved, and chances a smile.]

Seed butter sounds nice. [She's never had it, but most of the food here is pretty nice. The not-goopy kind, anyway.]

It is. We were on a planet full of seeds awhile back and they keep well and somehow just smashing them up makes them really delicious. [It's not exactly peanut butter but after this long it might as well be. So, maybe a little goopy, but only in the best creamy, rich way!] I'm not sure if we have bread at the moment to put it on but if we don't then it covers the taste of wheat solids pretty well.
