That's good. We've been without security for awhile and no security means no weapons for the ship. [She could care less about the armory. She doesn't need guns to fight. But she does like having the big ones on the outside of the ship working just in case.]

Well, they made me a pilot. I'm not sure that would have been my first thought, but I have flown things before back home. They definitely like to screw with people sometimes though.

It's too bad if someone gets thrown into something they absolutely hate, but that can still be beneficial for skill-building.

It also seems to repress skills so your natural talents don't exceed someone with the proper augment. Yes, I could already fly a plane back home, but I could also hack even alien tech and I can't do that now. No matter how much time I spend studying the engineering of the ship I only get so far and no further.

And sometimes you wake up in a man's body or woman's if you were already in one or you're 8 years old again or whatever they want to do. So, I'm not the biggest fan for the augments in the fleet.

I want my skills and my body, not the ones I can buy from them.

It's not usually. [And losing really depends on what you had to start with and what the augment seeks to control.]

I've only had something drastic happen once. It lasted less than a week.

A chef is not necessary. I'm more interested in someone who can keep the cabinets full of wine.
