Hmmm, that's a good point. Still, it requires a different skillset- a good sense of rhythm and rhyme and all of that. I could write words, but I wouldn't be able to write the actual notes, and that's half the battle.

Oh, I understand that. My mom does that kind of thing- she's an actress, so she'll have her students do that as an improv exercise. Thinking up things on the spot.

We get on each others' nerves sometimes, but honestly, I don't mind all that much. Just as long as she's not too nosy. ... which she is. But she means well.
